First i wanna Thanks my friend Minideed whos owns a very decent low rate server about this i am gonna copy paste bellow.

 

Second i am in l2j bussines over 3 years and i have worked as Staff member on many L2OFF Servers so i can say i know a lot of whats going from the backstage.

 

I have to Agree 100% for the bellow:

 

 

Java:

Updated more often;

Cheaper to run and maintain;

Less open to Ddos attacks;

Contains more content than even the latest Hellbound extender files;

Almost as stable as any official files;

More coders willing to work on java projects (normally for free);

Java code is often shared to better improve it;

Java servers capable of handling 3000 players per server now;

Easier to configure and set rates

 

Official (Extenders or modded C4 junk):

Seldom updated;

Expensive and not easy to maintain;

Ddos attacks and hacks constantly;

Lacking in content (Java contains elements from Final);

Less coders (and they seldom work for free)

Official based files are never shared and kept private;

Depending on the files, unstable over 2500 players per server;

Takes money, time and patience to set up and configure

 

After that you will say to me "prove what you are saying", i'll say "just look around".

Lawl 3 years of your coding experience went to waste since you're claiming Java is better than official.  Do not imberess yourself even more by replying to me proving a theory please! Java will never be better than OFF. Java is the most sucky programming language for coding any scripts/games/emulators.

where are you based on to say that l2j is more stable than l2off?

L2 OFF hero systm beat best of best l2j pack in da huge world.

Java servers capable of handling 3000 players per server now; yeah there is big difference of capable and laggggg free :D java servers always are lagging paradise. and i loled for 2.5k off server is unstable??? what weed u have used XD there is already several off servers which have over 5k people playing online and no lagging that is quite big advance when u are saying java is capable of handling 3k players. seems like u are funboy of l2j since it have newest updates and servers have most updated areas/skills but its nothing of comparing l2off server lag free 5k-10k players online.

you do compare c++/asm with java?

i use l2j too but off is much faster
