  1. first - you take cliext.dll, throw it in the trash, and never speak of it again cuz its a garbage dll which vanganth should be ashamed of creating alternatively you set the MD5Checksum in IlExt.ini for your new dll
  2. it is much advanced, but like how much u consider many cuz like l2 folk think 50$ is many and it aint
  3. how many $$$ u got
  4. yeah absolutely no one is gonna follow that advice, i mean hell you're on a site right now which used to click jack :D i think the success rate of brute forcers which use leaked/stolen/bought server login dbs and hence the necessity for forced-prefix account registration is testament to the security precautions that lineage2 players take these days
  5. isn't this server in beta? like i know lineage2 players think beta test period is basically "showoff period" for l2j plebs with plug and play packs but idk in the days i ran servers i thought beta period was for testing and finding bugs to be fixed before going live? or is that not how it works anymore? *shrugs*
  6. 11 minute video man, tl;dr you should sum it up a little
  7. l2off cached doesn't do what i think you think it does ... i had to do a double take and rub my eyes on this one i can't believe i actually read that i don't think anyone's gonna argue with you on whether it's possible to do what you're talking about, it clearly is and obviously many enterprise services are ran that way, i think the greater question is why the hell would you? for an academic exercise sure go for it, have fun... but as a practical improvement to l2j as it currently stands? there's 1000 other places that development time would be 1000000x better spent
  8. dude you asked for opinions and said you'd listen to suggestions (read the last line of your original post) so idk why you're getting that attitude about me doing what you asked lol your intention is to sell this product, as someone who derives a large part of his income from selling shit in l2 space - trust me when i tell you there is no market for your product. no one wants a c# AI, the only people who even know wtf you're talking about with what your magic system can do vs AI are already making their own extenders for functionality AI can't provide, these people will not buy your product. anything you want to do with NPCs the AI can already do so a new scripting engine is useless there, the true potential for a scripting engine is on the l2server not l2npc, just look at the kind of shit they do on l2j with java scripts - you get that same kind of functionality over to l2off and your pool of buyers will explode
  9. yeah but literally no one cares about that man, ai functionality is good enough to do anything anyone wants to do with npcs atm, but anything else, any other kind of game functionality is 100% inaccessible to people who don't know c++ and asm... want a custom bbs? tough shit want a custom event which doesn't revolve around npcs? tough shit want to log some statistics for your website? tough shit want to try some kind of custom bot shit like they do on l2j (captcha etc)? tough shit there's so many possibilities to open up l2off to a broader audience than just us wacko devs with a scripting engine on the l2server and if you're looking to sell this shit i can tell you right now, no one will buy a system which is basically AI+
  10. meh extra scripting engine isn't really necessary on l2npc, l2server scripting engine though that'd be where it's at, event systems and all that shit yo
  11. Don't click the green arrow, go to build -> build solution
  12. it's only smartguard , so i wouldn't say never but he sure doesn't have the budget for it
  13. just use fyyre's nophx and you'll be set btw, all this talk about adrenaline and it's scripts - if your plan is to be using smartguard just remember it will never block adrenaline because akumu works with pcoder (adrenaline dev) to allow it to work through smart, so don't even bother if that's your goal
  14. "good" is subjective, objectively speaking - from the point of view of any l2off developer (which then makes it subjective again but we're gonna skip over that), l2j is garbage trash garbage mc shitsauce, to use a technical term.
  15. the issue is the players don't care so why should the server owners / pack devs... like fyyre said the bar has been lowered and the bugs and just dumbassery of l2j is universally accepted by players as just what private servers are like cuz 90% have those issues, between shit geo engines which put u in the ceiling or show "cannot see target" all the time and universally incorrect algorithms and formulas for skills and the #1 thing which drives me fucking nuts is static point spawns for npcs - all of this shit is just accepted by players because that's just how private servers are right? my work in l2j has shown 1 thing predominantly, it's a constantly losing battle between devs who actually know what they're doing and know what it should be, and the devs who are out there to make 5$ on a system they copypasted together which does 60s sleeps for an event queue in the main thread pool and uses CopyOnWriteArrayList for a write-heavy container like for every decent dev there's probably 20 shit ones fucking things up and i don't see that as likely to change
  16. yeah like i said, got a link to the files? i'll decrypt them for you but you gotta send em first buddy
  17. got a link for the filez?
  18. dude adrenalin is 10 bucks don't be so cheap you ain't gonna get free shit working on servers with guards, skip starbucks twice this week and there's your bot have fun
  19. meh if i can be bothered i'll load a proper vm for it later, unpacking on w7 never goes well but i'm not sure i can be bothered to expend that much energy on your shit soft
  20. buddy there's plenty of protections i can bypass which i consider quite good, because it takes more than 5 minutes to bypass, i will admit though it took probably 20 minutes this time cuz my first go at unpacking themida didn't go so well cuz of my new debug environment not being setup for old useless shit packers and ofc your little crc check had to be bypassed too, don't want anyone using this to get jailed now do we http://www73.zippyshare.com/v/vx4iL3kk/file.html (to anyone who uses it: yes you need both files in your system) vredict: still fucking shit garbage shit. next?
  21. you really don't get it do you man? it protects 0% because i just fuckin posted the bypass, only reason 90% of ur server isn't using it is cuz the topic title, i should just make a new topic "l2custom protection bypass" for SEO sake and we'll see how many % bot it protects your server from then also let me explain to you the reason it's a shit protection, it took me 15 minutes to bypass it, it would've taken 5 minutes but i spent so much time laughing and showing some friends how shit it was that i got distracted, any normal proper protection would at least take me a few hours of research and debugging to bypass with effectiveness, would probably require a custom dll to hook some shit but yours i fucking hex edited man - I USED A HEX EDITOR TO BYPASS THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR PROTECTION AFTER 5 MINUTES OF WORK - if you can't see why that's a problem you have no business making one in the first place
  22. it was sarcasm man :D cuz that's the kinda shit people on here do, everyone and his mamma is making a client protection atm and sticking them for sale in the market, but 98% of them are like yours, 0% protection and a 2 second bypass for anyone with half a functioning brain
  23. I'm gkad for you, but you're overpaying for services available from the company they are ddos protected by for 1/4 of the price, and their web hosting is completely unnecessary unless as I mentioned you need mssql connectivity from linux and don't have the capability to set that up yourself because there's a free service available (cloudflare) which can handle 10000x the attack that they can and then you just buy whatever $20/year web host pack that supports your requirements. Hyperfilter is just a reseller of someone else's ddos protection, don't be fooled by their marketing saying they have "ddos engineers", they don't, their datacenter does. Their markup is huge, I applaud them for finding datacenters with great ddos protection and then excellently marketing their resale of that. It takes a lot of trial and error, emphasis on the error, to find suitable datacenters that especially can handle the larger attacks and for that sure they deserve some markup, I just happen to think it's excessive. All of that aside, their webhosting always has been and always will be unnecessary for the vast majority of people, bordering on a scam. You can get better ddos protection than they provide FOR FREE so unless you need mssql from linux and don't have the capability to do that yourself (dblib pdo - google it, it's easy) you should never use hyperfilter for web hosting as it is not, and will never be, better than cloudflare.
  24. No. Hyperfilter are overpriced ovh tunnels, just do it yourself for 1/4 the cost, and NEVER EVER use their web hosting unless you need mssql connectivity from linux and aren't capable of setting that up yourself, cloudflare is free and basically unddosable as long as you configure your shit
