People appreciate hard work and good work still, even if it's l2 players. aCis at the moment is doing something no other public l2 pack ever even tried, retail AI script implementation. Following the retail spawn manager, when Tryskell and his team finishes AI, aCis will be far more advanced by years than any public project out there. The only problem with aCis is that it's missing the proper tools/features so that working with it can be more flexible/extendable and easier. Features like listener-trigger calls, overridable behavior calls (these help when you're working on custom features like auto-events so you don't have to touch the core), proper skill engine (I'm sure it's in their timeline though), hardcoded events like sieges etc. Over 100? 100 is a joke, with 100$ u can buy perhaps some custom features. The work required to 'finish' and maintain a server emulator for an MMO generally could be priced for several thousand dollars to begin with and then monthly payments as well. It's not as simple as players have it in their mind. That is if you are actually serious and don't want to open a 1-week pvp server, then u can even spend 30 euro and open it. Idk about l2jdev, usually brasilian packs tend to be full of custom shit found online and little to no work done on important things. About Orion, the fact that its owner is banned here in MxC should tell you a lot. It's dogshit and you should never, ever use it. - advExt gf ai issues are mainly with mob aggression behavior as far as I know, not hard to fix but it's a pain to work with ncsoft AI scripts, mostly due to variable naming u'll get a headache. On aCis it will be much easier to debug and work with them as they will be Java scripts. Here is a snippet of retail AI script to understand what I'm talking about:

Lucera, aCis, l2jserver, l2scripts, l2jhellas, l2jfrozen, l2jmobius. These are the most famous ones around here, however only aCis is still updating and fixing things but idk if it's ok to open a server in its current state. Since you seem inexperienced on the matter, go with lucera.

It's perfectly fine to sell a compiled product as long as you have integrated the proper tools for developers to work on their own mods and override/modify existing compiled behaviour. That's only true if you are constantly updating the private source with fixes and improvements so that the person who purchases it can rely on you to fix any core problems that occur, since their limited access prevents them from doing so themselves. That being said, I doubt Mobius will ever have time to include such options as he tends to keep up with latest chronicles and that's already too much work for 1 person.

You should downgrade Classic to C4 if you even wanna be relevant in 2022.

You can't possibly detect and fix all bugs during beta/early access. The point for beta/early access is to discover game breaking bugs, as well as fix as many other bugs as you can detect. There will always be more bugs to be found on a new game/server.

If your files are ready retail like, opening a low rate is much, much less work than opening a high rate/mid rate.

Seems like a long worked project, shame you won't test the 'retail like' behavior you claim to have achieved on a low-rate. Opening a no-craft mid to high rate after investing so much time to make your files work as intended for a x1 server is like buying a Lamborghini and adding a speed cap at 60 km/h. Few to none relevant information regarding your issue. You pasted few lines of code which we know nothing about or where you placed it. Also, you mention that you use 'AntiFeed', which basically is something custom we know nothing about, there's not enough info to help you. If you want to block 2 players that use the same ip from accessing a zone, the best way is to check their ip when they enter the zone. If another player that is in the same zone shares the same ip, don't let the player enter (tp him back). There's no way players can cheat their way through, unless your movement system/zone system is fcked. If you feel players can cheat their way into the zone, you can additionally run a task every X minutes/seconds to check for players using the same ip inside the restricted zone and kick them.

I'd say you have no idea what you're talking about based on what I just read, a weak attempt to copy L2Reborn while having the failsafe of blaming players if something fails because of the YOU spam all over the topic. Let me explain further: You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. You don't know what programming is or what programming languages are and are clueless about how it all translates in the end. You don't know what performance or stability is or where it comes from either. Therefore, you are not in the position to judge one of the most used (and complex) programming languages like that simply because you played some failed l2 servers. A discord server or forum to post your polls and daily updates (shouldn't be hard if you got so many team members like you said) like pictures, videos and progress. And many, many more advertisement moves you should have done beforehand, but it looks to me there's no actual team behind but probably some discord spammers or 1-2 banners in L2Oops. - You generally try to take the same approach L2Reborn took with their servers, you keep presenting the 'no p2w' theme like something unique over and over, yet you don't realize that 50% of the servers opened nowadays do not include p2w and are limited to cosmetics. You're not special, you're one of the many. And an inexperienced one, in my honest opinion. Keep your head down to earth, at least when posting in mxc cause you will be ridiculed. P.S. If you want players to trust you, you have to earn this trust. Words are just words, Reborn built their community over the years and in the beginning they had low online, but they delivered and players noticed that.

He probably has some xml with different vip types and to activate vip on enter world he loops through the possible vips to check if the player has a bonus applied. It's crap, but the code he asked help for looks correct, if what I assumed is right.

This doesn't look bad, but you should move such logic in VipData. Also, I'm pretty sure VipData can be improved, but I can't know how until I see it. You should move 'long now' outside of the for loop and 'long endDay' outside of the if statement and use it in the if like 'if (endDay > 0)'. Also, you probably need some way to remove vip for players that vip time runs out, but there probably is a task already in VipData (can't know till I see it).

Try New World, their ability and gear system is very nice and unique (from what I know at least). Leveling doesn't feel tiring, at least so far (I'm lvl 30). I'm basically waiting for Throne and Liberty (aka Lineage 3) this spring and Ashes of Creation around 2024-2025. Also I'm pretty hyped about the new Assassin's Creed Mirage.

I started L2 on L2Pandora C3, it was low-rate can't even remember the exact rates. I played for like 1-2 weeks there until some friends started on a C4 mid-rate server, L2Revenge. I played for about 6 months L2Revenge, until I made the worst decision and started on PvP servers (L2Immortal C5 was the first, then L2InfoGate Interlude etc). I stopped playing PvP servers 4-5 years ago and started actually learning the game on some low-rates and mid-rates. I've played A LOT of league of legends (I'd say more than 4k hours, considering I reached 1k hours in PUBG in just under 1 year and I've been playing league of legends since season 3), multiple single player games (mainly the assassin's creed series and old Total War games) and a few MMOs here and there (MU online, Black Desert, New World which I'm currently still playing etc). I never blamed private servers for the horrible state of the game nowadays. In my opinion, NCSoft ruined the game completely. They actually brought up a very nice game that people loved and managed to turn it into the worst retail experience I've seen in a game. Private servers got more and more fame, because of NCSoft's stupid actions, and with fame comes money. People stopped caring about providing a nice experience for the players and focused on the same shit as NCSoft -> how to extract as much money as possible from the remaining players. They made the private server scene a complete joke, with russian ddosers asking 1k euros from admins just to let them have an opening, up to clueless idiots spamming high rate interludes just to get 50 euro so they can spend it on McDonalds.
