  1. L2 players barely have time for low-rate servers nowadays, this is absurd. If you're aiming towards a decent online you shouldn't keep it lower than x1. With no shadow weapons it already is hard enough. The name though XD GL.
  2. Simple, you're full of shit and Zacapa won't get anything. You can't do shit on your own, you're full of lies. Why would 'your friend' work on things for you and not make a topic himself on mxc?
  3. That's the only response you give when people ask about this. Get a life dude and stop trying to prove you're something you're clearly not.
  4. This Playinnova guy has already been reported for scam in the past, you need to search for these things before you purchase. To Playinnova: Based on what I read, you are clueless when it comes to coding and l2j (you can't even figure out why your character can't move). Stop trying to sell things you found ready or your friend 'made for you' and try to properly learn how to implement things. To Zacapa: As I already told you on discord, ALWAYS get a view of the finished product before sending any money. Ask for proof that the mod you buy is working as it should on the pack you need it for, then pay for it. It's pointless to pre-pay things and will lead to scam/partially working mods, unless the mod you're requesting requires a lot of time in which case the developer might request some of the money beforehand. And try to use middle-man service when buying from randoms with no good reputation. This guy even started a competition to re-design someone's htmls and website which he abandoned without even trying (because he couldn't do it).
  5. Okay, all you need to do is uninstall anything related to NCSoft, then wait until April-May 2023 and play Lineage 3 (aka Throne and Liberty).
  6. One of the cleanest designs I've seen, very suitable for an old-school interlude. The site is one of the best, in my opinion at least. From the color pallete to the images, I love it. The name is bad tho.
  7. Lack of interest; most private server players prefer older than GoD gameplay, mainly Interlude.
  8. 1. I'm not talking about fake players. Some players like to keep 2 characters open for several reasons and blocking this in a pvp server is pointless as it wouldn't harm the economy/progression in any way. It would just make the server look more populated, which is good. 2. Premium with some drop benefits and perhaps a global chat is far less pay2win than augments. Premium + cosmetics is enough income to keep the server up + also make money. 3. Those with the merge as you say are not few and there's many servers that are long-lived. Rates do matter as lineage 2 is a game based on grinding and leveling, take that away all that's left is 1/4 of the gameplay which will result in players being bored more easily. Like for example you claim Hot Springs to be a pvp zone. Why would anyone want to go to Hot Springs in a pvp server where you can buy tts and 3rd class from gmshop? Pvp is a result of competition in farming zones for spots and cannot be forced. Nevertheless, I didn't mean to defame your project, I appreciate admins who at least keep up with the latest possibilities and attempt to offer a new experience to the players, I wish you good luck.
  9. https://maxcheaters.com/topic/194004-editing-textures-updated-for-2015/
  10. To be honest maxcheaters should have had one or more online servers for the past 10 years, I don't see why Maxtor didn't even bother. Free profit + advertisement for the forum. Plus the community would only grow with time and after each wipe he would only have to relax and watch his bank account.
  11. No dual-box limitation is pointless for a high rate server. The point of no dual-box is for all classes to playable (for low rates) or for slower progression (mid-rate). Also to block solo rift. These do not apply in a high rate server and the only outcome of limiting boxes would be less players online. Moreover, what is the point of no vote reward or no premium account when you sell augment skills for 5 euro? Or even noblesse status. Buying augments is the most pay2win you can have in a pvp server, that's basically the endgame along with enchants. Looks like it will be a short-lived project, which is unfortunate because the fact that you use Classic client shows that you spent time working on the server. The website is decent too. Consider lowering rates to less than x100, high rate pvp servers are basically dead in 2022. GL.
  12. What you're trying to achieve makes more sense now and it is actually nice. However, it's still a bit pointless for the admins to choose this. In 2012 maybe, back then mxc was thriving and full of people looking for shares or servers to play. Now, most of these people have left mxc/l2 behind. Consider starting your own server as I said previously and when you build up a community, re-start this thread and then you can even charge admins to brand under L2MxC. If you got a network of 700-800 online players, this means that any new server under L2MxC name would be populated (at least the first days, if it's good people would stay). Myself for example, I would pay a big network with an established community to allow me to launch under their name (kinda like what vampire did with stalone back in 2015 on L2Raze, the server had great population at opening due to cooperation with L2Tales, which was one of the biggest networks then, even if people left due to gameplay): It's not as much work as it used to be for a mid-rate nowadays, specially if you go with L2Off.
  13. Agreed with Tryskell, I find this very pointless. Why would any successful server, with its name already built, suddenly re-brand to what you're asking without even knowing if will be good or harmful for this server(and harmful would more likely be the case, since you don't have the community to back it up)? If you want to re-build L2 community you should consider launching your own network of servers; include multiple chronicles and multiple rates, you can target all of L2 players by opening 4-5 servers under the same login and name (L2MxC). People loved L2MxC back in the day and it was very successful, no doubt everyone will join if you decide to re-open. You can even take it a step further and include some sort of inner circle in your server. People with (restricted) access to server's files and structure that will contribute in order to take the servers to the next level. This will also bring more life to the forum. You can't just expect people to recognize any value in this out of the blue, when there isn't any examples to back it up. Branding existing servers under L2MxC would only work if there was an actual L2MxC that was as successful as you request others to be.
  14. Problem is he raged after he couldn't talk back, that's pretty toxic and sparked off a pointless discussion about obvious things.
  15. You literally pasted the first google search you did and then proceeded to write nonsense without proof to back it up. Cmon, you can do better than that.
  16. This thought process is generally wrong, idk how you cannot understand this You're basically saying cheaper is better (in quality), which can't be true. Unless it's an exception to the rule, but I can guarantee Bulgaria isn't. 'life standard', check any google statistics it will tell you how Greece has better living conditions, any aspect. Example: Crime rate in Bulgaria 2019 (per 100k populaton): 1.19 Crime rate in Greece 2019 (per 100k population): 0.74 More searches will show you: - Higher percentage of Bulgarians immigrate to Greece than the opposite. - Bulgaria Human Development Index (HDI) is 0.816, whereas Greece is 0.888 - Again, that's not hate. That's how a proper comparison should be done, if you want to compare by numbers. But again, there's other factors in play like landscapes, tourist attractions, employment rate etc.
  17. You misunderstood me. Both Athens and Sofia are pieces of shit in terms of salaries/jobs and prices. I didn't say Bulgaria is a third world country, I didn't express hate towards Bulgaria in any way. I'm just talking facts, you can't say it's better to live in a place based only on the prices of products, this is absurd. It's complete nonsense trying to compare countries based on water bottle prices, lmao.
  18. Not true btw. You're trying to justify that living in Bulgaria is better because it's cheap, lmao. You can go live in a 3rd world country then, everything is basically free if you make more than 10 euros a day. And Greece is not even close to being expensive compared to other European countries. Btw this off-topic crap started after this: Which was actually pointless and led to 3 pages of nonsense.
  19. Your question is a bit unclear, if you're looking for a value at a specific index in the list, you may use List.get(index) method. It's similar to what you would use in an array, for example if you want the 2nd element of an array you would use: array[1], if you want the same element from a list you would use: List.get(1). Remember that for lists, like arrays, index starts from 0 and not from 1.
  20. Yes, start from UseItem.java and locate the method called to equip an item. When the item is successfully equipped (passed the checks), add your logic. Modern packs usually offer some kind of OnEquipListener, so you don't need to hardcode your logic inside useEquippableItem. Figure out yourself the best way to do it.
  21. Style is irrelevant when it comes down to extendablity and performance (not talking about your codes, generally speaking). You can't defend bad performance for example by saying that's my coding style, same for extendablity. But I get your point, this is L2 codes we're talking about.
  22. Link + password is working fine. About the code itself, I didn't bother to look but judging from the replies in the topic, it must be outdated. EDIT: Yeah, the code is pretty crap, but it should work.
  23. As someone with minimum to no knowledge of web-development, I doubt it would be very hard to change a few basic things. I've done it in the past. Therefore, I see no reason why admins would struggle installing and using something like this unless they've never touched anything similar in their life (and if so, they shouldn't touch nothing, they should pay people who know what they're doing to make changes). As long as the installation guide and documentation are straightforward and cover most cases/problems, setup should be easy.
