So found this interesting situation while chating with my client:

Please some from Global Mods ban him forever, to avoid such scam things from his side in future.

and after little investigation, found out that he sold one more map which i created

I never indicated myself as an author, what was required of me, I did.
Is it forbidden to edit the map and create geodata for it?

steal and sell other people work is your life style?

I'm asking the Admins of MxC to ban his account and delete all his topics with sales.

I can also verify that iPerfect is acting weird, he sold me an editor 1.5 year ago and he promised to fix some bugs since he has the source of it but guess what, he never fixed them and i found out that he wasn't even the developer of it.

@deMEV sorry to see you get scammed as well, maybe you should find a way to encrypt the files you sell or share so nobody will ever do this again.

Sad to hear that, seems like he scammed a lot of people.

All files can be dumped from memory, there is no way to protect files to 100%.

I am not saying that what has happened is nice at any point. But the half mxc is reselling here, do we have to ban them all ?

Reselling? Most of the "sellers" here steal work and put their name on it. And some ppl pay crazy money for this. I won't mention users bcs they can start cry a lot.

Is there any evidence that he introduced his name as the author? If he was asked to edit the map and create geodata i don't see any scam. People ask me to edit other dev's stuff almost every day, that doesn't make me a  scammer.

I need to reply with an offtopic post.

A full detailed jserver creation request from a client would probably not cost more than 200E.

Fun fact1: 1 map equals to 500+ E.

Fun fact2: this map can be stolen from anyone who playing that server.

Fun fact3: the original map creator is actually stolen the original files to create the 'Fun fact 1'

Fun fact4: the 'scammer' named scammer because he edited a scammed file that it was located at scammed files.

Moral Lesson: Be l2jdev.

Fun fact5: creating such a map consumes 3-6 hours including pauses to drink beer. L2j server creation may take a lot of time ;)

@deMEVif @iPerfect the same person as from russian community then he have a decryptor of @Akumu crypter. He can steal anyone client mods w/o any problems and resell as author. Ofc it's amoral but it's part of l2 community. I know some admins who changed my copyrightes in addons by self and someone even shared/resold it after as own. It's ugly part of payed developing.

Amen.

Can you add a movers for static doors and decorations with saving default map lightmap? And how much is cost your time?

    • Verify if following is supposed to be the way to handle movement npc.getAI().setIntention(CtrlIntention.AI_INTENTION_MOVE_TO, new Location(point.getX(), point.getY(), point.getZ())); For me, it's not enough. And if it's the case, whole AI system is probably buggy.

Im trying to create, an NPC wich have multiple walk routes basic logic is  random pick a route complite the route  like Route 1 start form zero (0 -> 1 -> 2(or more) -> 1 -> 0) When the npc return to 0, the script should pic the other route and start again.  And if there is a message like point 1 here     "route1.addPoint(new RoutePoint(1, 148568, 172328, -980, 5, true, "Puff"));" The npc should display the chat message. Currently my problem is the npc not moving, but if I manage it to start moving its randomly move between the route 1 and 2 set of coordinates. Currently for me its  a nightmare. I hope anyone can help somhow.
