Even company account got banned " "Company account " I guess he meant bussiness account , if that's the case, then I don't think that paypal's live-time or its "status" really matters here. Business-Individual really doesn't matter. Check out this group on fb : eCom Mastermind (Gabriel St-Germain) You will find tons of paypal cases. Edited September 10, 2021 by Brado 1 Quote

No offense but in your first post you don't sound like you expressed something you've heard, so please try to be more careful with words cause they might mislead some users. Paypal was always a headache when it comes to donations and money earning. @Berserkd can you give us futher details of your case? Like what was the last action on your account before it ends up banned? Maybe they banned you for using multi accounts, cause you mentioned that you have a personal and a business account as well. This only applies to "new" accounts. If your account is old and trusted you got nothing to be worried about. My Paypal account at maxcheaters got banned too. it was 16 years old one of the oldest accounts out there. All my funds are locked for 180 days without knowing if I ever get them back. they have changed their policy. money that send as gift, newsgroups, no tracking number, friends and family don't like at paypal. Nightw0lf Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 https://fortune.com/2021/02/05/paypal-death-threats-trump-capitol/ Have you been using "friends & family" to send and recieve funds when the transactions should have been paypal invoices as commercial transactions so avoiding paying paypal fees? or you voted trump? https://californiaglobe.com/articles/de-platformed-by-paypal-you-could-be-next/ Quote

Obviously paypal "flagged" your account due to several unique "friendly" transactions, back in 2014 when had such issues a direct call to their offices located in UK had me explaining what method I used to receive money even gave them my website too (a Lineage 2 website) and till now they haven't disturb me again. Although moving to Viva seems the most safe option. Quote money that send as gift, newsgroups, no tracking number, friends and family don't like at paypal. Ofc because they don't get a fee when there's no currency conversion. Edited September 10, 2021 by Brado Quote

Check the group I posted about above! People with huge locked balances make moves with lawyers, ofc that depends on the balance you got locked. The fact is that their support must be wack lately. All you can do, is keep trying to reach them. Wish you luck ! 1 Quote
BruT Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 (edited) Several refunds(especially donations) and complaints are enough for paypal to ban your account since its not a valid business type for them. Edited September 11, 2021 by BruT 2 Quote

I think they just decided to ban similar accounts without question if there are so many complaints and refund attempts. Edited September 11, 2021 by BruT Quote
Trance Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 (edited) You don't end up in jail by any mean even if you withdraw the money every time and you have refunds pending with no money in the account. I know people that owns PayPal money and they're trying to reach them via 3rd party for years. Do not even worry about it. If you open a server and your account needs to be verified or they limit your account for the first time - that is the time when you need to call them and explain them that it's a game founded by donations; they'll lift most of the limits/restrictions. It's very important to have the business account. When you respond to a refund ticket, try to be politically right: "Thank you for your interested and support in donating for our project As per our terms and conditions that you agreed, donations are non-refundable. You were already rewarded in-game for your kind donations with Donate Coins, which has been already used." Edited September 11, 2021 by Trance 1 Quote
