  1. I swear it's not a spam. I'm trying to understand your vision on this : why would a l2j developer join you today ? What's the benefit for him ? I mean, are you working on a dedicated private source which requires more hands ? Aren't you enough with the pipe request you have currently ? It's just to share experience ? Maybe just : to do WHAT ?

Unfortunately L2J have almost always been feature quantity over quality, and while they had C1 leak as a base no ever bothered looking into it to grasp the mechanisms (NC wouldn't have been so silent as well maybe) Either way, there is too much work to get L2J in a retail state now and it will remain that "kind of l2" for the better or the worst.

  10. It's easy to make it with all feature and looks like it's L2, it's harder to make it work like retail. Also don't blame people with the lack of bug report. Most issue with public pack is people whining "it's crap it didn't work" without a single proper bug report. Shadowing bug report to make a fork, resell a modified version, sell fix, ... also hurt the main project.
  11. L2J geoengine is not to blame, it's pathfinding and movement handling is. The geo engine as is works great.

  14. Not really, I guess you'll be on your own for that one. Just there is a way to generate geodata from client, that's how NC does it, and it's fuck up by default.

  17. It's RE from GF and (very slightly updated) to GoD+ (mostly magic type addition) The hit time / cast time is the very same since GF as it still matches. Guess it's the same since forever really, but clean it up for lower version.

  20. It's quite easy actually, p_hit_a_night pump is protected by a pump conditions which checks on server if it's night or not, and revalidated every stats recalculations.

  23. The way you handle skills is weird. You shouldn't have to do any hardcoded map there. From learnt based on their attribute you should able to get the skill you want and validate their conditions without using anything else. That would reduce per class AI to generic.
