Proxy checkers are basically tools that verify whether a proxy works, measures response time, and checks things like protocol support (HTTP, SOCKS4/5) and sometimes anonymity level.

Not all checkers are equal — some just test connectivity, others give more detailed info like latency, anonymity, or geolocation.
