  1. Good for you, xdem. I like using Chrome aswell but it's just that I don't like this error here at MXC so I'll stick with Mozilla.
  2. I didn't talk about Mozilla's quality guys, I just said that you're not going to get that error with Mozilla. I'm using Chrome aswell but I'll be using Mozilla for MXC. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion though.
  3. I already tried clearing cache/cookies etc but I'm still getting that error with Chrome.
  4. Hey guys, If you're encountering the error "Requested time out.", use Mozilla and you won't get that error. I already did some tests like sending a PM and posting a new topic and there is no absolutely error with Mozilla. That's all I had to say, have a nice day. EDIT: Guys, I never said that Mozilla is better or something, I just said that with Mozilla you won't get that error. I'm using Chrome aswell, I'll just be using Mozilla for MXC.
  5. Sorry guys, I was just testing something with different browsers. I was actually trying to see if I would get the error "The request was timed out." using Mozilla & Opera. It actually turns out that using Mozilla, I'm not getting this error so you can use Mozilla to avoid getting that error.
  6. I understand that these topics are kinda old but still, one of these guys was using vBulletin 4.1.2 and he still got that error. Nevertheless, my point was that it's not a coding error or something, it's server-side. You can use Mozilla and you won't get that error though.
  7. Guys, that's not an error by SMF's code so don't make false assumptions please. (it's actually server-side) That error happens with vBulletin aswell, already found 2 topics on their forum. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum/vbulletin-4/vbulletin-4-questions-problems-and-troubleshooting/381845-your-request-timed-out-please-retry-the-request-error-message http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum/vbulletin-4/vbulletin-4-questions-problems-and-troubleshooting/387597-your-request-timed-out-please-retry-the-request Maxtor, there is actually a TEMPORARY solution for users. Using Mozilla, users won't get that error. (I did some tests like sending private message and posting a new topic)
  8. Thanks for welcoming me.
  9. Hello Maxcheaters members, I'm from Greece and I'm glad to be here, your forum seems to have much available content. (guides etc) I'm a web developer (I know languages like HTML, JS and PHP) and I generally have programming knowledge. (I don't know Java's syntax though but it seems to be easy). How are you all?
