Hello everyone, I would like to know your opinion about mesh pack and frozen pack on which better to build server PVP AVD etc.
P.S
Which pack is easier to handle?

If you have java knowledge just go with acis. Tones of scripts online to adapt or build your own. If you dont have knowledge and just want to play with a ready pack lucerav2 is pretty good it has almost everything to setup a pvp server. Ive seen a lot of servers using it without any issues. On the other hand theres mobius which have some implemented features acis dont have. But all packs require some sort of payment-donation to get latest updates and a lot of work from your end to adapt it them your poject needs. Theres not pack you open a live server with just 2 clicks. Hope that helps

I make this post to clarify what is the current condition of my Interlude project.

 

What is your Interlude files based on?
Interlude was based on L2jFrozen latest free version.

 

Do you use aCis scripts?
I used most compatible aCis scripts, available at the time I started, since my version was adapted to use later L2j version scripts.

 

What about python scripts?
Python scripts are fully dropped. They are replaced by Java scripts.
L2jMobius Interlude is the first project based on L2jServer, L2jFrozen and aCis to have all scripts in Java without missing anything.
We have most scripts by aCis and java versions of all remaining L2jFrozen scripts that made it a complete Interlude project.

 

Have you made any changes on your own, or this is just a combination of other projects?
This is not just a combination of projects. There are hundreds of changes made to fix, clean, improve, update and add things.

 

Do you update Interlude?
As all projects, when something is done to other branches and can be beneficial, it is added to Interlude as well.

 

I do not see any recent changes to Interlude.
There is no need to change something that is not broken and works as intended.

 

Should I use your Interlude or L2jServer?
Definitely use L2jMobius Interlude.

 

Should I use your Interlude or L2jFrozen?
Definitely use L2jMobius Interlude.

 

Should I use your Interlude or aCis?
aCis is a very decent project, but I would definetly use L2jMobius Interlude (obviously).


Conclusions

  • L2jMobius Interlude is different from L2jServer, L2jFrozen and aCis.
  • It is updated and updates are done in a need to be done basis.
  • It is my effort to make a complete Interlude server.

Frozen is not bad for pvp server but have a lot of problems...acis is better but need a lot of adapts.

Because anoficially I have continued L2jFrozen with this project.

Everyone should use L2jMobius C6 instead of L2jFrozen for any kind of server.

 

If you actually tried to read what I wrote, instead of flame, you would not need to ask.

      Let me see if I understand correctly, older gentlemen, when a newcomer shows up to create modern things with the help of AI, doing what you charge them to do, you point the finger and laugh. I believe that's why everything is stagnant. The product isn't for programming experts, it's for newcomers. Don't buy from you if they can do it themselves using this base. You're going to deliver a similar product, maybe even worse than this one, so why are you complaining? PowerShell, as you well know, started with it, then came new platforms and new apps, new creation models, all with different languages; I chose the simplest one for my taste. This is about being organized and knowing how to choose the right words for each situation. It's not 100%, but it already gives a good impression. Nothing is 100%, so a topic written by AI, and all the code that you charge an absurd amount for to prohibit and sell hacks, could be open source so that everyone can create new practices, new models, new information for passing packets, prohibiting the use of cheats that cause server owners to break so much. Let's remember that the Admin doesn't always shut down the server; it's the players who find problems and take advantage by buying and reselling items, and they say that the GM shuts down the server every week, but that's a lie. What they do is duplicate items with packages and sell them, but perhaps this could give some future developers a starting point to create their own protection following the model in the initial documentation. Because none of you answer a question from a newbie, you think you're superior because you have knowledge, but with AI, people like that can have the same knowledge as you, but with less practice. And if they practice a lot, 10,000 hours, they can be as good as all of you older developers in the L2J field.
