People have learnt to play this game the wrong way, especially the last 7 years. Proper L2 is grindy and hard AF, but its more fun for the long term. If you want craft you should make it more fun for non-botters.

How come nobody talks about it here? I have been playing for almost a week now and its amazing. As someone playing Lineage 2 since 2005 i can tell you that it has the same open world sandbox thing going on.

2 cores are enough for l2j. I used to have an athlon 2 core server with hetzner and 500 players were no issue. CPU usage was barely 40% during massive tvt event (200 players)

Too expenive considering there are cheaper alternatives with svn access. You dont even tell us what is so much better than other pakcs to justify the 1k price.

Cause server owners make $$$ from allowing whoever pays to use bot. I am pretty sure some of these server owners (if not all) have made deals with bot developers etc. This l2 private server community is toxic AF. If you still play this game and expect everything to be legit im sorry but theres something wrong with you. Better go play on retail server. At least there they rip you off in your face.

I really liked the original hopzone layout. The fonts used in the list was smaller and more servers were visible at the front page. I overall liked it much more that what they did to it now.

Everyone always votes for the mid/low without buffer but they never going to play it.

All classes are made to cancel/counter other classes out for example tanks can keep archers busy while mages fk the archers out but archers can fk mages up cause mages have shitty p def. (Normal buffs and circumstances of course not the 10hour buff ones lol) Since its a multiplayer game teamwork is key. Thats why when big groups fight pvp is more enjoyable and you dont notice how bad some classes are against others. I have never seen anyone complain about balance in faction servers so much as they do in other servers where one vs one is more common. Lineage 2 will only be balanced when everyone has the same stats, all the rest is BS and still it will be down to who attacked first. So the lesson of the day is every class is as good as the guy playing the class.

Moved to this host from ifast few days ago. Its really as fast as they claim it is. Hope they add vps or something soon.

Sounds good. I really liked l2jhellas despite the problems at the time i used it. Howerver there are somethings id like to see be done differently. For example id like to see a focus on making the pack usable for a live server first and then all the rest. Another thing id like to see its keep the code style constant. Meaning not changing file and method titles and stuff all the time during reworks (This is the reason most customs brake overtime in my experience). Or at least avoid these kind of changes as much as possible. Not useless porting to .xml database tables. It really takes away the flexibility mysql gives in massive content changes. For example in l2jserver all the drops have been moved inside xml files and are combined with the npc data. That means i cant delete useless drops or change ammounts and chances in a large scale. Same with NPCs i cant delete usless npcs anymore and so long. And last, If something works fine keep it until theres a better overall option or theres no other way to keep it.

Hope you resolved your issues. If i were you id make the donations via invoice option. That way you can setup no refund rules the donator will agree upon so in case they try to request their money back they wont be able.

Just a logic thought. Since the players are fewer maybe the server should be based on a smaller area. Maybe even without teleporter. However the game wasnt designed to be that small and there will be a lot of unused content.
