Sorry but you dont make a server for fun and put donations in it, its not like hosting is so expensive today. You can have a decent server with 500 peeps for less than 20eu /m.

If i do it i will do it for the fun of it, it wont have donations. I just wanted to talk about it and get some opinions etc.

So i have been working on some epilogue files for a couple of months now (fixing exploits and bugs mainly) and i was wondering if anyone would like to play on an epilogue server, most likely a high rate.

Most hosts disable socket detecting etc. thats why it doesnt work. You could install a webserver on your server machine and then do an iframe of the status check on your website.

Dont play on greedy servers.

Why you complain about fake players? Arent you one of those people that unless a server hass 500 from 1st hour they dont join?

I used to have a working account there but for 1 year+ now my account is waiting for approval. Tried making new account, same waiting approval message for months...

Wow 500 usd for a pc with a Pentium cpu amd 4gb ram? Im not against intel or something but if you want cheap better buy an amd cpu. My 6core 8gb machine cost me that much.

You can built decent gaming pc for 350-400 euros, if you avoid intel cpus. Or you can start with the basics cpu/mobo/ram and use your old hdd and vga until you have enough money to buy more stuff.

Why not use facebook promote? I got like 400 likes in a week for 15eu and im still getting likes after a year the server has closed.

I think hopzone now is 98% in autopilot and from time to time they check up on it. But since they changed the design of the site thats when it started going downhill. I had many issues with activating a few servers since their policies are not realistic. I've had a couple of brand new servers that got disaproved for the reason it was a double listing or because i had another account allready. How i was supose to promote a brand new server without getting in the newesr section in the front page? And if you use an existing account you cant add more than 1 server anymore. You have to edit the old one and prey to Cthulu people will find it.

Only good thing about l2off its the stability and the features (if you are into playing h5 or IL with gf and c4 formulas and game mechanics). There are better options written in java in half the price.
