  1. Are you sure user_ban is used by l2server to control this?
  2. The ammount of ram - GF requires will not see newbie servers surge. Even so - it would be good and build a base. Can you write NASC and RAW AI Phantasmo? Need more people to get interested to get a base - to want to learn. Starting with knowledge of scripts and L2Off's scripted language would be a plus now. Intricate knowledg of Daemons can come later. ...unless you want all knowledge to die with me or others.
  3. I think it's cool your trying to learn programming - and starting to understand .NET to create some basic tools. Keep doing that :) But you should please re-consider what to share - when you share a program that has X pre-defined buttons as shortcuts. It's not really worth your time - or anyone else.
  4. I think i'm growing too old - all i see this is, is a shortcut opener. It does nothing. It just opens a folder with a shell execution from .NET...what's the point? ...am i missing something here?
  5. ...so what is it supposed to do?
  6. ...uhh this does nothing?
  7. i looked wrong is it lin2comm ?? either way l2server.ini has not localhost for ip for cacheD.
  8. l2server.ini but you should be severely worried about your authserver that can't fetch worldnames which could also be a problem.
  9. A. you didn't type the right log\password b. you didn't type the correct FILE dsn name. c. you didn't make ODBC correctly - and made a SYSTEM ODBC dsn, which is useless.
  10. That is good cached. Learn to do ODBC proper. Did you do that and place them in C:\Program Files\Common Files (x86)\ODBC\Data Sources ?
  11. ...GF Emulator? You wanna compete against 100% retail leak? (well, 99,999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999%).
  12. hAuthd script only works with hAuthd. And you try use the modified GPwdWithFlag with hAuthd tell me what happens. Thus a similar script like this is needed - in those niches.
  13. hAuthd doesn't support Auto Registration - like GF AuthDaemon \ AuthGate does. So there's that niche possibilty.
  14. It's helpful for beginners. But you probably quickly want to switch to something else once you get to GF or start having to deal with extenders providing custom vars. But we should pool tools together in a sticky thread - along with other things. We should tart in weekend
  15. Wrong forum - L2J. Learn to post correctly first - and you might get better help :)
  16. This is factually wrong. (that c4 leak is from 04). The amount of feature changes from C4>C6 that need core changing are miniscule. Most are added on - and condition based. There are no real new skill effects in C6 that have a new custom formula for damage - all your pre-existing C4 skill effects are used for most. And all power numbers in client has always corresponded to each "power" variable in the SkillEffects in skilldata. There is still no L2J fork - that has correct damage formula's taken from the most used skill effects for damage. There is no L2J fork with the formula for damage calculation taken directly from CWorld::Attack etc. Ergo - all of l2j is unbalanced formulated wrong comparing to retail. You cannot find 1 place in the C4>C6 changelogs that has changed a core formula - only small changes where skills have "toned down" meaning the skilleffect power var has been reduced. Go create a retail dropsystem - where everything is grouped instead of 1 chance for each item. Go create the spawn system proper - where each monster is not spawned in a FIXED position. There's plenty of examples like this. Some may matter more than others - and the end user might not care. But to call it unfactually correct is down right retarded. The longer you get away from the base - the more harder it gets to achieve 99% sure. But when there's nothing that states core changes to how numbers are calculated - then it's not "-beep-ed old 2002" it's retail correct until otherwise stated. Don't be a stupid troll - when you do not know anything about it. And don't listen to other idiots that pretend they know either. L2J is suffering from the same issue as L2Off - the smart people are leaving.
  17. ...any estimated time of delivery for this showing?
  18. Then post the SQLi you've found using the script in question. Not his "app" - or a 3rd party app he used in conjunction with his Linux solving issue. Show me specificly the line where there's a vulnerability.
  19. No it doesn't - this is in regards to the linux issues of webhosts. That's the same as saying cacheD is insecure because you didn't block port 2012. For what its' designed for - it works perfectly.
  20. http://www.l2service.com/forum/index.php?topic=77.0 Kation\Vangath's simple account panel (while not pretty) will do the job. It's safe and secure - so create some artistic mod out of it and use it. (Just don't edit some stuff saying you "edited" it while posting later).
  21. ....Why not share?
  22. If you can't deduce that changing a SQL query named CreateChar that ALSO has xp\level variables - will have some result\effect on character creation you shouldn't be messing with anything L2J or L2Off.
  23. Maybe your DISK are slow and failing - maybe something else. But unless you share what your using - it's impossible to go open IDA and take a look at why what's going into EAX @ 1001dedb is going pew pew.
  24. Well what it says. Deadlock on function execution. Impossible to know without all the extensions attached to cacheD - that may be causing indirect crashes because of whatever they're doing. Particularly what goes on @ L2CachePatch.dll at the address shown and then comparing to the registers. Possibly some memleak or bad pointer.
  25. It's impossible because no one wants to learn how to - and has no brains. And consumes alot of time - unless your very very well skilled in unpacking and analyzing what protections mechanisms are coded into the dlls.
