Core Features

 

We know there's a lot to learn here

Start by collecting Blood Stones

Monsters drop stones, collect them, buy stuff with them, keep it simple folks.

 

 

And filling up the Blood Pool

The more stones you get, the faster this meter will grow. Once full....something scary happens.

 

 

Blood Pool full? Oh boy, you're in for it

This is the biggest event ever created in the history of Lineage 2. Don't miss PvP history.

 

 

 

Beware people can steal your stones!

Anywhere in the world players can farm other players by stealing their Blood Stones. This is no Candy land.

 

 

 

And some zones will drop more stones

There is a PvP zone that is constantly shifting in our world. Hunt there for greater rewards, at your risk.

 

 

 

 

Speaking of zones, epics are now PvP

Nothing new here. Enter this zone and you'll automatically flag purple. Let the fights begin!

 

 

 

And lastly, you are in charge of balance

Defend against what you think is overpowered. Balance is now in your hands, no one else to blame.

ADMINS can you please move this thread to previews. I have made the mistake of placing it in the wrong category. And if there are any older threads can these be closed / deleted? I could not find any in the search, unsure if they have been archived.

This is a phenomenal piece of work as far as mid rate private servers go. I like you even more cos you know your Cowboy Bebop (Faye Valentine) and your DnD (Kain Do Urden) ;)

 

Higher rates, BBS teleports/buffs, autoloot/autoskills and other custom stuff you have implemented are not my cup of tea, my vision of L2 revolves around lower rates and other kind of needed changes in mechanics, but what you have done is top notch, for example the Ability Tree is really well made. I'm not sure if you have upgraded a pre-GoD or downgraded a GoD+ client, but if you have coded the on-screen damage yourself then congratulations for your feat. That is really WoWish and looks bad on L2 imo, but coding it (if you did) must have been hard.

 

Nonetheless, you are easily 10 times above the rest of the l2j servers out there, if not more. I might join in on the beta test if I have time to provide some constructive criticism.

 

Good luck and I hope your project will help in making all those crappy l2js disappear at least for a while.

Now then I thought I'd take some time every few days to go into some more detail about our features. Today I'll spend some time on the auto-shot system, designed by our team and implemented as a quality of life mechanic. The concept was to automatically detect the type of grade of weapon and apply the necessary shots without resorting to right clicking or activating them through some other means. This was especially apparent in Olympiad type situations, we've all been there, forgot to activate your shots and lost the match, it's an old story indeed.

 

More importantly, certain classes like to fast-swap weapons, they tend to need to activate the shots for each different grade. This becomes applicable for SOES BTB application or quick-swapping bows. Having different grade equipment will consume slots on the hotbar for these shots, something unnecessary in our humble opinion.

 

So our system detects your grade, applies the necessary shot, provided it is in your inventory, and automatically activates both soul shot and spirit shots for your convenience.

 

Just make sure to buy the shots. :)

 

 

I'll be covering a variety of our features, some are listed on the opening post, whereas others have yet to be revealed to the community as a whole.

whats the point of making mana pots work like that? i think is bad,its better to set 50% once player is flagged and not in combat.

We are using the Gracia Epilogue client. All UI & client modifications/additions were made by me from scratch. The Ability Window was one of the most complex additions and took a lot of brainstorming in order to make it look and function just like an 'ability tree' should function. :)
