I can help with designing it but I don't know any developer that can help making it work.

Mxc was popular back in days when people was sharing, talking seriously and solving each other's problems.

It was a good and funny way to spend your time and at the same time, learn or share your knowledge with others. 

Nowadays sadly, shares are zero and most of the user's will request for money to solve or asnwer simple questions.

 

Even if it sounds idiotic, for me when mxc was on SMF was much better. There was motivation for the members to share, i remember the adena system or the karma wars that was happening everyday. 

Also hiding posts with karma limit, posts etc was great for the forum, keeping it active with post's shares etc. It was working like a marketplace but with shares. You want to take sunrise source for free leaked for example? You have to share,post and in general contribute to the forum.

 

With the current situation, why to share something? Zero motivation.

I will not  mention the fact that l2 is dead cause its a fact, but still 90% of the community is visiting for the lineage.

What about XenForo?

But being honest I do really like the site as it, it has an unique essence and feel I like everytime I enter.

I don't see the need to change the forums at all, maybe some extra functionalities like achievements would be nice to add.

Another cool thing would be a homepage with news, get a team made by the community to review news made by the community itself and publish.

No, l2 only... the others are fine. And as you see, everythig around is l2 related.

You're never going to grow a tree in a flowerpot, and that's exactly how this forum operates right now. These games aren't dead, but those boards include almost exclusively Lineage 2 players who also happen to have interest in those other games, pretty much this:

 

 

^We need something like that. But this just can't happen without a complete restructuring and lots of advertising after that. Current traffic on other mini sections have literally zero information value right now. You need to look at each game's active playerbase and its potential for trading/scripting/boting etc.
