Hello :) i'm running into a problem by following those tutorials here in this section when i try to create a new texturefile. 1. i created a new utx package file 2. picked the texture class definition 3. created the groups 4. imported a dxt3 dds 5. selected dxt3 and marked "masked texture" 6. saved the .utx file 7. encoded the new utx file with l2encdec 121 8. renamed the file and put it into my systexturesfolder 9. redirected a specific mesh/animation in npcgrp.dat to my new texture 10. started the game and spawned my creature 11. critical error: ".....blabla........ texturefile text.utx expected 1 got 5" im using a high five client. i thought i did everything right, but i was wrong. what did i miss? :/

  8. Any Idea how to remove those npc mouse over effect? I don't want them light up anymore. :) -> And maybe how to remove this target indicator on npc select? Any clues? :)

  11. a shortcut with ip=127.0.0.1 parameter will do the same thing ^^
  12. Wrong Section and btw there should be an entry set name icon ore smthn like this. did u remove it?
  13. Wrong formatted textures may result in crashes and freezes when the client tries to access this specific texture.
  14. get some similar existing weapons and change the id, mesh, textures and animations only. The positioning of your effects should be ok then. small adjustments are needed though. :) and please be aware of excel converting numbers like 12345678.00000000 into 12345678.0 or 12,345,678.0. otherwise you wont get your positioning right (if you compy paste out of your .dat file and back into it again)^^
