  1. i guess loading only the effects that are needed it will maybe work, like removing from reshade shader folder the ones that are not needed, depends on the pc also i guess, also limithing the game at 30fps can be better maybe

Lineage2 Freya High Five @ Reshade with fog and rain etc @ Gracia final epilogue atmosphere this reshade will eat lots of GPU power 50% or more of an RTX 3060 so be carefull depending on what effects are activated and their settings will eat even more GPU recomended 60hz monitor settings and via nvidia panel in Lineage2 game profile vsync settings to on effects are set up till film deck and the rest are not used but still working again this can eat alot of GPU Don't overheat GPU this is for freya high five but might work on others too copy in the System folder the folder reshade-shaders and the files d3d9.dll ReShade.ini ReShadePreset.ini ReShade.log CccDddCcc.ini insert opens the menu and delete is on and of some settings need ctrl + left click to be changed making another profile will reset the not activated effects to their default values so just copy the profile CccDddCcc and rename if needed also something needs to be closed from settings in game menu, the blur at distance and advanced shaders but keeping the advanced water effects all reflections for those that don't like the h5 look of the sky and the red fog and rain and ambien red at night on all maps well if we want the cool gracia final epilogue back then we need to do this rename the Maps folder to Mapsretail or whatever copy the Maps folder from gracia final epilogue to h5 also we need the L2_Skies.utx from gracia final epilogue Textures folder to be replaced and also we need to do the same to the files timeenv0.int timeenv1.int timeenv2.int timeenv3.int found in system folder another setting that will probably be needed but not really tested out is to open file option.ini from system folder and add cachesize like this [FirstRun] FirstRun=2 [Engine.GameEngine] CacheSizeMegs=512 also maybe is good to change those to 4.000000 [ClippingRange] Terrain=4.000000 Actor=4.000000 StaticMesh=4.000000 StaticMeshLod=4.000000 Pawn=4.000000 sorry bad english https://mega.nz/file/aRNXxDrQ#mbxrNERBtW0XEEezK6w8-86oZWuX1k6NgtR6RZWKRVM the compression on the video is kinda bad but meh so one last thing about ReShade is if it detects a certain amount of network it will then disable the effects because it thinks we can cheat in multiplayer like wall hack / texture manipulations / etc, there are versions out there patched for this i guess, also here is a quick video to justify the effects better but still yt compression is bad

  5. can't remember exactly since it's been some years tried like 13 clients and all are the part 4 typical installers with the blood rain need the one with the dead tree and the dark purple smog fog don't know if it haves an typical installer or is the last via update but pls if someone haves it clean share it thank you much

  9. bumpmaping @ paralax @ volumetric detail @ point cloud all the updates will go in this post download is coming soon when i have time to spare to optimize it this is a test of a technique that i call inverted brain scan textures it adds in lineage volumetric bump detail to almost any surface and texture i think any texture can be used if you do it right and experiment more gpu will be used but that depends on the optimization you make you can edit and add and change parts of it as you like to blend ! the tutorial bellow is long because i was very very drunk skip at 01:21:05 to see results for now i use 2 settings to have the final quality look effect but you can experiment with that in the video i tried to combine settings but you can see the blackness in far texture for now i use it like this the first is smooth when you edit the texture make shore to not use detail alpha or feather or aa on transparency just use it like pixelated selection then you save it as dds dxt3 with no mipmaps then you import it as dxt3 and mipsmaps options and do the settings i do on every texture the second is granulated use same edit but save it as dxt1 with nomipmaps and then import it as dtx1 and mipmaps options and do the settings i do on every texture

  12. i know i have an archive of the retail client with clean system after fresh install of salvation and the .ini i created from the original .ini for pv/nv/sv to work if you guys need it tell me and ill search trough my stuff for the pv/nv/sv to properly work you need to add extra line codes and change some values plus that you need to reformat the line codes they use in newer versions as they differ from say h5p5 if you give me the original .ini i can make a proper pv/nv/sv

  14. just something i'm testing when i have some free time - future updates ill post them here ! only for lineage ii freya high five client make a backup of the original map first 16_15.unr @ snow effect @ 181224002001001001008001.zip if you use dev mode i made the character spawn in a micro zone so i could see only tree particles for tests ! so if they don't show up just move the camera and character a bit ! using 48128 particles in full effects or pv mode the particles will spawn all in like 15 seconds ! //move_to -112547 -82370 -3749 - merry christmas and a happy new year !

  16. glad we have it here now ! finally ! right ? so i opened and tested high five retail 16_15.unr and tried to add some stuff ands its ok ! but demev the grass is a problem, ist there another way to add it except the L2smr.jar ?
  17. download i did not tested this yet so be carefull and make an backup of your client first there is a problem with grass and light ! so i need to do more tests ! or ask demev ! i tried on a custom client high five with an added custom map made by demev allso tryed an retail map like 22_22.unr giran and it opened just fine i duno if it works on other clients just extract the L2Editor folder from arhive to your main client folder not system open the UnrealEd.exe and wait some wile, depends on your cpu after that go to view -> advanced settings -> editor -> advanced -> autosave -> off preview

  19. long time ago i used to work with those but can't remember well ! one day mabe ill share them all ! fileeditor for system stuff gildors umodel plus gui for extracting stuff notepad++ like everybody else zbrush mabe mudbox mabe a paint maping program mabe skeledit from gildor mabe Dragon UnPACKer mabe encdec mabe l2smr.jar 3dsmax 2009 with some plugins for skeletal meshes and animations etc unreal engine 2 editor for proper textures and effects postal game editor for static mesh with texture import unreal tournament 2004 editor for animations i tink some modified Unreal engine editors for maps proper tool to attach weapons in hand if not try the .grp way or lod way in editor i can't remember and some more others ! ill post the links if you want for some of them !
  20. use dev mode and you will finde the text links of textures and meshes in yellow when you equip them ! or use ue from gildor site !
  21. tink is one of the blend over texture effects or something that is near full transparent and blended with final flend if it has one remembers me when i was experimenting with multyple effects in unreal engine editor for a glass weapon !
  22. something like this is demev using mabe ! aniway ! i tink its easier to make the scene in 3ds max and section it with basic coordinates to get higher quality meshes and textures and a proper lod rendering ! then import it using postal editor and then add the meshes with smr.jar or something i cant remember but your wasting time trust me ! the game needs a new engine and thats it if you want to fantasy yourself till you die well your wasting time editing to death ! you are trying to edit it too much and that is not worthy the time trust me ! go do a hobby in your life that actualy is not wasting time for nothing ! if you want one of these editors i could post it but need to know if will get me baned first !
