  2. depends on what you are trying to import/open, in this case big files i tink i have same problem when importing large data\high quality mesh duno how to fix this

  5. turn off the Anti-Aliasing if you want because is not so nice allso you can turn on the reflections and change the Shader to none or a option eperiment with them see wich fits your needs !
  6. mabe its requiered the 3ds Max 9 not 2009 or/and zmodeler v1a not b, mabe the plugins too like md5 and OAUKX 6 or 7 reopen the .obj in zmodeler and save again as .obj ? i tink i read something about zbrush not zmodeler and you need to open final .obj in zbrush and save it again to fix normals and i tink its needed the v1 ? mabe its MilkShape 1.8.5, i duno try mix those things mabe you get it working i duno pls reply if you get it working coz we are all courious about
  7. repak the utx when you import you need check the mipmap and dtx1 options

  13. this is the Postal2 game wich contains a diferent version of UnrealEd and i tink is capable to pak for L][neage the following paks i did not test it at full capacity if it works and what it is capable of, but i hear it can do all ? if i am wrong pls post an exact info and ill update ! .ukx not fully tested animated mesh i have test it with a new mesh weapon from 3ds max 2009 but it haves the attachement problem .usx tested and working static mesh, static mesh + texture tested with static mesh from 3ds max 2009 and example can be found here http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/187595-old-church/ in that example you can see the meshes and textures are in one pack .utx tested and working texture i still have to test some quality in texture and other stuff .uax not tested sound download ~1 gb postal2 game that comes with UnrealEd download ~30 mb repacked UnrealEd only
  14. i tink when importing the image pls use 1024x1024 or 512x512 or watever it is powered by 2 and dont use like 1024x512

  17. yes and i tink i know wats the problem but it needs testing since i'm not shore when he imports it in 3ds he needs to conect all the vertices then set the uv or/and add material and texture then export
  18. that image from network is a .dds ? if so then you are exporting in a bad maner or when you are importing it you do something bad as i know if you want to make a button you need 3 images 1 is the clean one, 1 is the one when you move your mouse over and 1 when you click it have skype ?
  19. my exaple was general use and when you are importing in UnrealEd just check mipmaps option when importing and dtx3 but thats depending on wath you are doing but wath texture you wana edit ?
  20. say you take an image from network open in photoshop and edit it then export as .dds import it in UnrealEd and set it up encript as 121 set the .grp done

  22. well at least we know you don't want "just recolor and pack shit" well he can find but i tink will cost allot
  23. don't say for example texturing is a easy task coz you can make it a complex task if you know how to combine things and mabe even implement bumpmaping ! you basicaly ask for someone ho knows code, script, compile, etc in a very rude way :'( !
  24. you can make this too just tell me your video card and mabe your lucky to do same thing but on a lower resolution !
