Hello everyone, it’s been a hell of a long time since my last post here. The graveyard keeps growing. You’re probably wondering, “What’s this all about?” Let me tell you: the best Lineage 2 server you’ve ever played on.

Maxthor, dicksucker of the century - are you listening? How about you answer your fucking messages?
Celestine, it’s been a while - you’ve got my messages hours ago.

Now, since I’m the only one from the old crew who still has an account on this dead-ass forum, let me tell you what’s going on. We’ve got the resources, the infrastructure, and everything else needed to create the ultimate Lineage 2 servers – better than anything you’ve ever seen. Why? Because we’re fucking bored. There’s not a single L2 server out there worth mentioning. All of them are total disasters run by clowns who think they can make a quick money with premium accounts and donation fests. Well, here’s a message for you: you’re fucked. We’re back.

You’re probably asking, “Back? Who? Why? What’s the point?”
Here’s the answer: it’s none of your fucking business who. All you need to know is that we’ve got the money, the infrastructure, and the experience – and we don’t give a fuck about profits, we’re doing it for ourselves and for players like us. We’re about to create Lineage 2 servers like no one has ever fucking seen before.

The work has already been in progress for over a year. We’re building a network of servers – whatever style you can imagine: low rate, high rate, stack sub – you name it. Got a crazy idea for a server? Now’s your time to speak up. Your ideas – our execution. We’ve got the files, we’ve got the servers, and soon we’ll share the website where you can vote in polls and help shape the servers of your dreams.

And of course, all the hate drama from all of you who made that pathetic garbage servers is very appreciated.

:pepe-hmmm:

Oh, so the dead do speak. Took you long enough.

Maxthor? That bootlicker probably ran off to count his money. Celestine? Still pretending to be busy? Come on now, it’s been hours. Answer the damn messages or at least admit you’re too scared to.

But let’s talk about this so-called ultimate L2 server. Big words, but I like where this is going. You’re right—every L2 server these days is a joke. Paywalls, broken balance, and admins who vanish the moment shit hits the fan. If you’re actually putting your money where your mouth is, this might be the server worth playing.

So tell me, is this just a flex post, or are we actually getting a real L2 server that doesn’t suck? Because let’s be real—everyone and their dog claims they’re making “the best” server, but all we get is the same recycled garbage with a new coat of paint. If you’ve actually got real files, real devs, and not some script-kiddie copy-paste mess, then yeah, I’m interested.

And don’t even get me started on those clown-tier server owners. You know they’re already shaking. The moment they see a server that isn’t a glorified donation farm, they’ll be crying harder than a dagger main after a nerf. And I’ll be here, with popcorn, watching them implode.

So what’s the next step? Where’s the website? Where’s the proof? Or is this just another “big project” that disappears when the hype fades? Because if you’re serious, I’ll grab my gear and be there on day one. But if this is just another pipe dream, don’t waste my time.

Dead do speak indeed. A "flex" you say? Come on.. on a dead forum? A flex? Mate are you alright? And what money? A few euros from ads? Naah, Maxtor is just bussy sucking dicks for a rent.

Now, about your concerns. You’re right, we all know every L2 server these days is trash. That’s why we’re here. We’ve got the files, we’ve got the devs and we’ve got the balls to do something about it. No recycled garbage, no cash-grab bullshit - just servers built the way they should be. We all love L2, the real L2.

As I mentioned earlier, the website for the entire project will be made available soon. Things like websites and social media have a low priority - all the focus is on the core work: files, quests, balance, and every possible modification that could be implemented if that’s what the players want. Expect a shitload of polls about every damn thing.

As soon as the website is live, we’ll announce player recruitment for closed testing. For now, I can give you a little sneak peek: One of the servers currently in development will run on the Interlude chronicle, with low rates between 1-25 (exact rates depends on player's choice) and a 1+1 stack subclass system featuring strict passive restrictions and overall balance.

Server doesn’t need good files? Well, mate, with that attitude, it’s no wonder your “server” sucks dicks.

“Good” files, aka “precompiled Java garbage,” might be fine for your trash-tier setups, but we actually care about our files. Security, stability, performance, balance - that’s what we’re focused on. Maybe one day, you’ll stumble across one of those principles and realize why you’ve been stuck running clown servers all this time.

Let’s make MaxCheaters great again. I’m always listening, never ignoring. Yeah, I’ve been busy real life and the gym hit hard these days but let’s be real, every Lineage2 server right now is total garbage. Same clowns running them, just rebranding every month for a quick cash grab. Same cycle, different name.

Don’t even get me started on the so called “big” Pay2Play servers. The L2 scene is turbo dead because players are clueless they love hopping from one week servers to the next. It’s like dating a woman and immediately wanting to try the next one. No loyalty, no purpose.

It’s time to move on. Lineage2 is a dead game. Lets talk about Essence chronicle Dominates because you literally do nothing just task spam, let your bot farm 24/7, and repeat. I’m into other games now because there’s just no point playing L2 when the community itself is absolute trash.

When u dont have good community = server die for 1 week

Its today reality for L2 man 🙂 but GL

Every once in a while a "messiah" appears to throw garbage on a post in a dead forum, trying to revive something that is already long gone. The problem with this game isn’t corruption, donations, or even bad files.

There are good projects with the same concept worth mentioning, but the reality lineage is old. Deal with it and move on. If you have the money, the infrastructure, and the developers, start building something new.

In 2025, there are plenty of options, from Unity and Unreal to Godot. If you have ideas, put them into action and create something similar but fresh. After all, recycling trash still leaves you with trash

MMO definitively became a subgenre 15 years ago (basically since LoL introduction and raise, where MATCHES based games took the lead), and L2 itself is 20 years ago, with both deprecated mechanics and graphics. Numerous others games siphoned the playerbase meanwhile, and only RU/BR are still playing it. Even legit MMOs are/were dying, or got their playerbase near to 0.

You won't have more ideas than others - if there was good ideas, it would be already leeched and reused. Also, even if you got good ideas, someone will simply leech it. There's nothing special or impossible to produce - except the initial idea.

If you want a successful server, you actually shouldn't listen to players. They are your worst source of informations. Games like Dark Souls go totally versus the regular game development idea to easier games. People would follow your vision, from the moment the experience is here.

Finally, a network of servers is one thing. The lack of players is another. I fear you actually work for nothing. Thinking too high/too big was/is/will never a good thing. Planified development with extensions/new features, sure. All in one with X servers on at start ? I doubt.

Gl nonetheless. Edited by Tryskell

Take your bullshit somewhere else. Nobody who ever got scammed walks around asking, "Are you the one who scammed me?" If you got scammed, you already know who did it. Now, fuck off.

Thanks for your input - you make some valid points, but we’re not here to repeat past mistakes. We know L2 is old, but it still has that magic, and the fact that you replied here shows that L2 is still in our hearts.

Sure, you can create new games with amazing graphics and insane features - these days, AI can even make a game for you. But L2 has something special, something we all miss.

The real problem is that there isn’t a single server truly worth playing on – and that’s why we’ve decided to create our own. If it works out, there will finally be a place to play. If not – well, no one will be crying over it.

big words without knowledge.

Wow, a post from 2022 - nice digging, Mr. Archaeologist. You almost got my cry. Anyway, all I did there was just copy/paste the text my friends asked me to. I appreciate the attempt to stir up drama, but it turned out as usual - with a dick in your hand. Maybe you’ll have better luck next time.

I can't share the sentiment with "L2 is old, deal with it". Take a look at Runescape and Metin2, that shit being older than my grandma 1,20 down in grave and both games are still pretty much active.

Exactly, the player base is still here, the problem is the lack of any good server.

If you don't know who scammed you, then you're even more pathetic than I thought. Obviously, you can see the country flag in my profile, and it's not a fucking Egypt, you dumb fuck. Mad? Not mad, I’m just politely inviting you to fuck off.

    • in conclusion when somebody who has a project for 10+ years still on development writes an e-say to try until you succeed and then advertises his project, one of the reasons is he needs money, so l2j has once more become pure expensive hobby, you wont make money out of it.   You can still use L2jFrozen and get better results for this, i know some people that done it    keep in mind that C in aCis stands for Crappy, and after all these years its not a cool wordplay anymore, its a fact, prove me wrong.
    • First, don't really follow the "main voice", moreover if you consider it an hobby. Simply do what you want, you got only one life so use it as you want. If you make it an hobby, it's exactly like piano, or velo - only practice makes you better.   Secondly, how do you learn things ? It's actually a really important question, since some can simply be scholar, read books (theory) then practice ; and some simply can't read books. I'm the second type, I hated school, I find it boring - my knowledge in Java comes from try-and-fail. You improve your coding style every year or so, I can myself rewrite my own code (which I already considered top-notched) after a while. You always learn something new - even if Java barely evolves. L2J is a fun way to learn programming, it's a giant sandbox where you can edit anything, and I believe it should be taken as it.   My own way of learning was as follow : Add existing customs, no matter what they are : the point is to know main classes used by L2J / customs. L2J is barely Java knowledge ; the true knowledge is to know WHAT to search in WHICH location (what I call, organization). You have to understand than EVERYTHING you think already exists, in a form on another, in the source code. A custom is only the association of the different mechanisms you found "here and there", glued together in a proper goal. Once you know main classes to edit, and the customs you added are compiling fine, the main point is to know WHAT exactly you DID. Try to understand WHY and WHERE you actually copied the code. Third point would be to MANIPULATE the customs you added in order to fit your wish. First edit little values, then logic conditions ; eventually add a new Config, or a new functionality to the custom. Fourth point would be to begin to craft your own ideas. Once again, EVERYTHING already exists, in a form or another. You want a cycled event ? You got Seven Signs main task as exemple. Npc ? Search any type of Npc and figure out what it does. Fifth point would be to understand Java - mostly containers (WHAT and WHERE to use them), variables types and main Java mechanisms (inheritance, static modifier, etc). You should also begin to cut your code into maintainable classes or methods. Java can actually run without optimization, but bigger your ideas, more optimized and well-thought it should be. It's direct saved time in the future, and you would thank yourself doing so. Main tips : ALWAYS use any type of versioning system - GIT or SVN. It allows to save your work, step by step and eventually revert back anytime you want if you terribly messed up. L2J is 80% organization knowledge, and 20% Java knowledge. Basically, if you know WHAT and WHERE to search, if you aren't dumb, it's easy to replicate and re-use things. Cherry on top is to use a already good coded pack to avoid copy-paste crap and get bad habits. Avoid any type of russian or brazilian packs, for exemple - their best ability is to leak someone's else code. Obviously you need some default sense of logic, but Java and programming in general help you to improve it.   Finally, most of your questions could be solved joining related Discord (at least for aCis, I can't speak for others) - from the moment your question was correctly asked (and you seemed to search for the answer). My community (and myself) welcomes newbies, but got some issues with noobies.   The simpliest is to try, fail and repeat until you succeed - it sounds stupid, but that's basically how life works.   PS : about Java ressources, before ChatGPT, it was mostly about stackoverflow website, and site like Baeldung's one. With ChatGPT and alike, you generally double-cross AI output to avoid fucked up answers. Also, care about AI, they are often hallucinating really hard, even today. They can give you complete wrong answer, you tell them they are wrong, and they say "indeed, I suck, sorry - here's a new fucked up answer". You shouldn't 100% rely over AI answer, even if that can give sometimes legit answers, full code or just skeletons of ideas.   PPS : I don't think there are reliable ressources regarding L2J itself, also most of the proposed code decays pretty fast if the source code is actually maintained (at least for aCis). Still, old coded customs for old aCis sources are actually a good beginner challenge to apply on latest source.
