As i see you have 3 options:

Open the server w/o the 3rd farm zone and try to finish it and  balance the 3 classes after opening[players will help you]

Try to find a new partner[i'm sure you have many opportunities]

Try to talk with nhoke and work it with copyright

 

Finally you project seem to be likely by the people.I think you won't lose if you give it a shot

What's out!we have a smartass over here..I'm refering to projects as Nexus enging machine that are unique and you can't use it on your own server without buying it or wihout an agreement from the owner..Not so funny now,ah?

He indeed started to work. We had a few longer discussions about what happened and how things are going to go from now on. What I did - means, being really honest about what happened - was a really high risk, regarding the server's future. It might have scared off many players, but this was, so to speak the very last try to force hNoke to become active again. He said that my post was actually unnecessary, because he wanted to start working anyways.

 

To clarify:

Even if a bit late, hNoke is fixing bugs and is creating new things again. Server's opening date is going to remain few days after christmas.

 

An honest warning, tho. The virtual server is weak, it is not going to be able to handle hundreds of players. We are going to hold onto it and launch the server from there, because we don't know how many players will still want to play after the recent events. If the server becomes popular, we are going to move to a physical server to provide the necessary power.

 

I would again thank you very much for the continuous support you are giving us, it means a lot.

If he was not working he would have no need of keeping the ppl interested in the server.

Should be between Christmas and New Year's Eve, as promised.

I am currently working my ass off on DVC, trying to finish it as fast as I can, but still adding some creative touch to the monsters/zone. I will most likely not go through till Antharas' Heart, but definitely until the retail Anakazel spawns.

 

Here is a short list I made that are priority right now. We are going to go through this as fast possible. After these things are done, the server should be in a functioning state with some flaws, but those are not going to influence the player's experience on the server.

 

 

my part:

edit HK and SK
finally finish dwarves
finish DVC mobs
add drops to DVC mobs
set moirai and pve runes prices

Java part:

Tier 1.5 weapons if enchanted with crystal scrolls do not display chance/penalty, anything at all...

Make Tier 1.5 weapons attributeable
Fix so bow/skill cast can't be interrupted by damage
Make shift-click droplist to highlight materials from sweep (for spoil)
Finish global event and event schedule

Finish Party Matching NPC

updater (most important)
forums (most important)

After the server opens, we are going to stop adding anything new for a few days/weeks. We are going to focus on fixing possible bugs and make sure things work as they were intended to. We have planned out so many things that we want to still add to the server, expect tons of updates.

Also the server will not be ready on the first days , so it's best to have less ppl.

Plus  , i suppose that the first days will be "tests/reports/fixes/restarts/roll backs , etc" (maybe a wipe too) , so the less ppl the server has , the better.

No, there shouldn't be roll backs or to many restarts at all, maybe I did present the server as worse than it actually is. It's supposed to be a working server that is ready to be played on, but many of the extra features are just not in the game yet. Those will be added later.

 

The main reason why we want to launch the server as soon as possible is because it's still holidays, this is the time when we can pay the most attention to it, to fix everything that has to be fixed. A launch requires us to be here all the time, lots of stress comes with it, especially since there hasn't been a test phase yet. Maybe I make it out to be worse than it really is, but I'm pretty excited. Also I just realised that I might have made the server to be too challenging. I'm curious to see how you all are going to overcome the insane monsters in DVC. :)

I am not exactly sure what you wrote in Greek, but using my OP language skills and the retarded google translator that only manage to translate " atoma ones have been set up," into english...

 

So you basicly said that the server should be opened on a strong, well set up server that can handle enough players, because you guys alone are 15 players and a VPS will not handle enough for a war.

 

Unfortunately, densekserw, there is a bit of truth behind this. I cannot support more than this financially and I don't want invest into an expensive server and then fail horribly. Be there at the opening, show us that you like the server. Consider this as a test run. Success = we get a physical server.

 

But see? We are not asking for donates, because:

1. It would be way too early

2. It would make the wrong impression of our intentions.

 

We have worked for a really long time on the server, it is not the general mass-produced server you see everywhere with the one goal to make money. We want you to have fun and we want you to be able to play for a long time here. Unfortunately, it will take us longer to build a server up that can provide all this, but we will get there.
