Yes i played in DN and there you could stack main+1 class.

I know some methods... you can remove they weapons... remove effects buffs etc... paralize them....

 

Or a restriction on all villagemaster that if they use any action  to not gice them subclass... change or cancel them.

it looks like this:

you have main class, than you go to add subclass (of course with retail rules), nvm if quest item needed or not, just add and after that skills from sub are on main, and from main on sub
