You can develop l2j in visual studio. There is a Java extension. -

Help Anyone Know This Addon?
Elfo replied to sawczuk's question in Request Server Development Help [L2J]
You don't even need to have all that. Just add a hook on the level up process and then you can just update that every time a player hits a milestone. then just store the rewards you want for every level in one of the million ways that you can store data and voila. Just make sure you update the milestone reached level in db. You don't even have to worry about deleveling cuz if the milestone is reached the code will ignore it. -

Why don't you do it for us again? Oh because your tests get to a point that the performance pretty much gets scaled in an expectable (for the load) progression i guess. (I am pretty sure he can't even understand the language I'm using) -

Pirama your arguments are always vague. The only thing you did is that you found out that the more instances objects with tasks and lists hooked to them you create, the more resources your pc will consume. Holy shit, welcome to programming. -
It's amazing how a couple of people can drive a topic so offtopic. I don't even know why mods don't go full Chernobyl and chat ban those guys.

Main reason being the fact that L2jServer wasn't in god development before official was already Ertheia, leaving a huge gap time-wise. People were left with no choice than to use H5 or IL (because of acis). I'm sure someone will popup with a public or even private project based on unity tho.

Guys we are talking about a product that is 12 years old. How much more "market analysis" do you need. It is pretty obvious by now. It is a game that some still play, few still develop and most moved on. Nothing to discover. You are posting in the biggest l2j community and you only got 24 votes. That's pretty much what you will get. If that's not good enough for you, tough shit. At least you tried. But don't expect to get a mass of people to follow you. IL and H5 is so popular because they where the latest chronicles before huge transitions. IL went to Kamael and H5 went to GOD (And free to play). That's the main reason why thing won't be as successful as H5 was in it's time. Because it is free. How much more fancier can you make a custom private GoD server? They have like 80 grand bossed and 128 armors for Christ's sake.

Sdw, from the bottom of my heart right, I really like what you are doing but you have to understand that people will vote yes to the poll but they won't really give a shit about the project. They will just wait for you to update and do you thing and they will occasionally complain because the pack might not be ready for a live server. You probably won't have the support you're expecting, if you are expecting any at all. You know that especially the l2j community got really greedy with the years. They don't appreciate a project as much as they should and they are trying to profit of of it. If you wanna continue the project, then go for it, but do it for yourself. Doing it for the others' excitement is a good motivation though and unstable one.

Source L2Dot Net Interlude Project
Elfo replied to Elfo's topic in Server Development Discussion [L2J]
Update 05/06/2016 Current rev: 204 Started Geodata work. Reworked Npc Table / NpcTemplate. Removed unused stuff. Reworked Admin commands. Tons of code optimization / cleanups. Some packet op code changes. Added continuous integration with the perfect services of App Veyor: Special thanks to MartLegion (who currently has even more commits than me) for his contribution. -

Help Sql Queries In Fixed Times
Elfo replied to Gam3Master's question in Request Server Development Help [L2J]
It won't cause problems but in this case go for premature optimization and cache the data as Sdw said. Basically run a task which will populate your vars, Lists, Maps or whatever you use and give it an interval of 30 minutes. -
I only briefly checked the code, as there is not commit sequence to guide me. The only thing i can say is good job guys.

Help Char_Template Acis

Depends. Do you need all the info in there? If yes then only manually i guess. If not then you can right some regex to generate the insert statement. -
Project L2Jhellas Interlude Project

It's basically "can you do the job or not". It is very common that during technical interviews you are allowed to google stuff. Anyway this is getting offtopic. -

Hahahaahahah that's pretty funny. I'm sure it's the best thing out there. Mate no one gives a shit about you. I'm not saying you are hiding anything. Im just saying that even if there is something which to my eyes there isn't (and don't link that TEI HPEIROU again please thanks), i'm sure it's just a title and they don't actually give a shit about the principles of software engineering. So please spare your words. They are pretty offensive. Anyway that was my 2 cents. Overwatch time. -
