Also the customs they add are so complicated that nobody is going to use them.

last time i've checked l2j had so many implementations of somany languages and external dependencies i wanted to give up using it, back in time it was just the java the csv/xml/db files a database pool jar and you knew what you had to deal with, now you can see 50 files to add a buffer

Why do we really continue this conversation? Are you sane people? We really claim that players and admins are more important than a developer? @TehBot12 You realize if developer quit their job all servers will die within few hours?

Players are dumb bots and the reasons a server degrade over time. Each one crying like a baby and he demands server changes, admin then apply those changes and other players get disappointed. In the end you adjust your whole server to match players taste and nobody is happy.

Players should -beep- and play or quit the gaming forever. Some people are meant to play some other are meant to lose some are meant to do something else other than gaming. Dying in Call of duty 10 times in row doesn't make Call of Duty a bad game, it's mean you're useless or amateur and no playing for many years as i heard as an excuse from some of my clients is stupid. Time might helps but it doesn't mean playing Lineage 2 for 10 years make you a decent person to have opinion over game changes.

So now that we threw players as left over chicken wings to the garbage bin, let's discuss about administrators.

Majority of them are wannabe people who reached the maximum level of lineage 2 (probably in some x 1000 server with a 100% safe enchant rate aka Pride like servers) and they decided to rule community with their experienced perspective. Their opinion unshakable and of course on top of everyone's else.

Their experience after watching OUR tutorial and OUR work while we perform in their computer via some remote software reaches up to to XML & HTML edit. You will hear many of them claiming that they even know how to read or edit a code even tho they don't know that an armor texture is not a DEVELOPER'S JOB!

No "Administrators" of Lineage 2 community, you can't code, you can't read a code and you can't do anything without us. Because you read a function "isHero()" and understand it because Java is human friendly language doesn't make you a person who understand programming. We are not fools sitting for 5-10 years to own multiple languages to end up arguing with a guy who get excited because he copy paste values in XML.

Let's no mix up our job and not mistaken your position here. You do nothing special other than advertise project, take decisions and edit few configurations. In the end of the day you gonna cry to your developer for fixing up bugs or change systems.

I've seen "admins" ruining developer's work. I've seen Administrators rulling in the business.

After all, If no Admins, then no Devs. Except if a Developer is also an Administrator. In that case delete everything I said. Administrators and Developers should work as an entity. I'm observing an attitude here. Not only from you, but in a lot of Developers I've come across those years. Players report to Admins, then Admins think about what to do and they report to Developers. And @Kara if no servers, then no job for you. Remember that. Developers not the top of the iceberg stop acting like it. We all have the same motivation that keeps us working. My job is equally important as yours. If my server has lots of people, then it has lots of donations. Lots of donations = More codes from you.

And that's how you all have 2k+ posts in this forum. Ok, I get it now.

Dont go for the payment thing cause we could simply ask 500e for a code and admins would give them. In any freelance site the salary for a developer is high as fuck. Not these 10 euro for a code, 5 euro for small fix etc. Simply poor gipsies devs ruined and spoiled audience and now admins ask a job for less money. So avoid this conv cause you might live a day that you need to pay with your liver for a simple code if the remaining devs appreciate their knowledge and stop giving away things for 5 euro.

About how we get our post, first why you care yow many post each one has?

Show some respect to the remaining in this forum such as tryskell, those who answer in help sections etc. Cause without us you wouldnt have l2 nor a forum to write now.

Stop writing you're out of this topic nobody give a damn about you anymore.

Your server failed hard not a single online player on a server it's the ultimate failure. Even pride like servers receive 100-120 people online and it's the same recycled pack.

Successful server with 7.000 forum members as website claim

yet 1 real online on discord:

Laugh of the year. And eave English aside. Don't make me go though your last comments or topics and point out your grammar or your syntax.

Also please do not quote me again, it's offensive that a guy who beg for help dare to trash talk to the people who helped him. As long as i provide free help to your request topics keep your mouth shut like me or not.

To stay on topic, I also I want to say about ACIS vs LUCERA...

ACIS is good because of updated files and support of Tryskell.

Lucera is good if you have the skill level of Celestine

L2jOrion is best for me because of the ease to edit, updated files, almost no bugs, support and relationship.

Continue to attack Admins... and continue with your negative posts... and troll... everything I said you were is true sweetheart... everybody knows you!..

We have left you free to have this discussion this time around but some of you often get off topic all the time, so please do not get off topic anymore.

Lucera is based in H5 PTS files i have work on it like 3,5 years + lucera needs much progress for build your server with it but is worth it i like this base and lucera movement.

aCis is good base for write java if you are not actually educated developer etc but still need progress also.

Thats my opinion since lucera is based on h5 you can't compare it because it is something different.

Regards.

[offTopic]Increasing your prices won't get you the results you're hoping for. Also, If a Developer is worth 500/code he shouldn't just work for lineage2 emulators. You arrange your prices by the population of a game. I'm not against an "expensive" Developer. I'm against the whole diva attitude.[/offTopic]

aCis will be king of java emulators in a couple years. That's what i'm thinking.

Interlude released 2006. 15 years later, thousands of players are still active. What could happen in a couple years?

yes , but measure the % decrease in players from 2006 until now.. and apply to when Acis will be king..

Anyway, I think Acis has great potential .. but in the end,  there is a time limit on Interlude and all L2 chronicles. So many different new games open now. I love L2, but we are a dying species.

Yeah man! Even though I know this.. I am working to open a retail(almost) 4x interlude server. It's not about a business .. it's about a passion.

    • This post originally appeared on MmoGah. Welcome to Borderlands 4, the latest installment in Gearbox Software's beloved looter-shooter franchise. Set in the sprawling world of Kairos, this game introduces new mechanics, characters, and a vast open-world experience. Whether you're a series veteran or a newcomer, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started and succeed.       Choosing Your Vault Hunter Borderlands 4 offers four unique Vault Hunters, each with distinct abilities and playstyles: Amon: A close-quarters tank who excels with shotguns and melee attacks. Ideal for aggressive players who like to be in the thick of battle. Vex: A stealthy clone master who can duplicate herself to confuse enemies and amplify damage. Great for tactical players. Rafa: A long-range specialist with sniper skills and elemental traps. Perfect for precision shooters. Harlowe: A support-oriented character with healing and crowd-control abilities. Best for team players or solo survivalists. Tip: Read each character's affinity and skill tree before committing. You can respec later, but starting with a character that matches your playstyle makes the early game smoother.   What to Do First After completing the prologue, you'll land in Kairos with your first mission: Recruitment Drive. Here's what you should prioritize: Complete "Down and Outbound" This unlocks the Digi-Runner, your summonable vehicle. It's essential for fast travel and early combat support. Secure a Safehouse Safehouses offer fast travel, contracts, and gear storage. Claim one early to make exploration easier. Upgrade Your Backpack Inventory space is limited at first. Upgrading your backpack lets you carry more loot and ammo. Unlock the Glidepack This mobility tool allows you to traverse vertical terrain and reach hidden areas. Return Lost Capsules These collectibles offer XP and gear. They're scattered across Kairos and are worth hunting down.   Navigating Kairos Borderlands 4 removes the traditional minimap. Instead, you'll rely on: ECHO-4 Drone: Your personal navigator. It highlights paths, climbable walls, and grapple points. Radar Display: Enable this in the settings (Gameplay → Toggle Radar Display) for better orientation. Custom Waypoints: Use these to mark objectives or loot spots on your map.   Combat Tips Combat in Borderlands 4 is fast, chaotic, and rewarding. Here's how to stay alive and dominate: Use Cover and Movement Kairos is filled with vertical terrain. Use walls, ledges, and grapple points to dodge enemy fire. Elemental Matchups Matter Match your weapon's element to enemy weaknesses: Fire: Best against flesh Shock: Effective on shields Cryo: Slows and freezes Corrosive: Destroys armor Test Action Skills Each character has three skill trees with unique capstones. Don't hesitate to respec if a skill doesn't suit you—Borderlands 4 money is easy to earn. Use Vehicle Weapons The Digi-Runner comes equipped with basic weapons. Use it to soften up enemies before engaging on foot.   Leveling Up Efficiently XP is crucial for unlocking skills and gear. Here are the best ways to level up: Main Missions: Progress the story to unlock key tools and areas. Side Missions (Contracts): These are found in Safehouses, which offer quick XP and gear. Farm Bosses: Some bosses drop legendary loot and give decent XP. Replay Vault Missions: These are harder but offer large XP rewards. Prospects Drill Site: A top-tier farming location with high XP and legendary gear chances.   Looting and Gear Loot is the heart of Borderlands. Here's how to maximize your haul: Color Rarity Guide: White: Common Green: Uncommon Blue: Rare Purple: Epic Orange: Legendary Don't Just Chase DPS Look at weapon stats like reload speed, magazine size, and elemental effects. A lower-DPS gun with better utility might outperform a high-DPS one. Legendary Drops Bosses and elite enemies have a chance to drop legendary weapons. Keep farming if you're after something specific. Black Market Vendor Hidden in Kairos, this vendor sells rare gear. Check back often for rotating stock.   Advanced Tips Once you've got the basics down, here are some pro-level strategies: Drive Recklessly Vehicles explode easily, but you can summon a new one instantly. Use them aggressively. Fishing Minigame Yes, Borderlands 4 has fishing! Look for bubbling water spots. Fish can be traded for gear or used in crafting. Accessibility Settings Reduce screen shake and head-bob if you're prone to motion sickness. It makes long sessions more comfortable. Explore After Getting Vehicle The map is massive. Wait until you have the Digi-Runner before venturing far from mission hubs. Collect Vault Symbols These unlock lore, XP, and sometimes gear. They're hidden throughout the world.   Final Thoughts Borderlands 4 is a wild ride full of loot, laughs, and laser fire. As a beginner, focus on: Picking the right character Unlocking your vehicle early Using ECHO-4 for navigation Farming XP through missions and bosses Matching elemental weapons to enemies Respeccing your skills to suit your playstyle With these tips, you'll be well on your way to becoming a legendary Vault Hunter in Kairos.
