Hello, i developed an engine which i call Phantom from scratch (No it's not using Elfo's roboto engine). 

The purpose of the Phantom is not to bypass the brain of players. It's more like a fun - interaction engine.

It use a smart algorithm which allow to act like a normal player, pick items, do res other party member, give priority to targets who have karma or attack them e.t.c

 

A Small preview of the the AI:

 

Updates 1.01:

  • Added realistic Archer behaviour
  • Re-design the core of skill engine (In order to allow classes like bishop to realise which skill is needed)
  • Realistic movement pattern and no move directly on target

PS. if due to fact that my code is not ready for sell means it cannot be in MarketPlace then a mod move it to discussion and when i'll finish it ill move it back here.

Yes i will sell it but its like a preview of now. Whoever is interest in buying he can still add me on skype.  Beside whoever buy it i'll update the .patch to his PC. I want add functions like if phantom has picked weapons that are enchanted or idk he can open a private store in Giran and sell it for XX adena and configs afcourse (xml)

a few questions:

  • Does each bot have its own task for every action?
  • Bots would be able to take buffs/rebuffs from npcs etc (cause i saw them fighting without buffs. Im asking that, in case of mid rate servers)
  • What about oly case?

 

I know its too early to ask those things but i wanna know if you are gonna work on them in future

It's way too early to ask for such a question but,

 

1. No each not individual thinking it's massive. In case of 2.000 fakes you don't really want 2.000 individual timers behind each.

2. One solution is on XML config to set your buffer id and if the phantom is in town and he need buff to go infront of the buffer and pretend he is taking buffs (which in reality he will just take a scheme set by config)

3. About olympiad is not my intention. Maybe in future if all goes well i'll add a function to assign a script which will follow some steps in order to play Olympiad.

 

For now is in cave mode.  It will take some time until i implement systems like open private stores in Giran or challenge other players for duels.

Yea sure i would do that anyway to whoever want test it. Beside even if nobody take it i'll still develop it cause the idea behind a "AI" system its more interesting than make an Event Engine.

 

As soon as i have some more results i'll post updates and new videos.

probably another crappy bot engine, I bet there's no actual AI or machine learning here, bot vs bot when everybody is a mage or an archer seems catchy, but where are dagger's/kamaels and other classes that need actual mechanics? What your videos show is a simple NpcInfo -> CharInfo correct me if I am wrong

I'm not making an AI-C system because 1. It would take lots of time 2. Nobody would have money to buy it.

This doesn't mean that the system cannot be smart. About classes there are currently few classes available. I started it 2 days ago

Nothing to correct you except that is not NpcInfo -> CharInfo. I never used such a thing. Still its gonna be the best "fake" engine out there. Also if you want talk for fail engines go for Elfo's roboto. It's just a 

getTarget() - attack engine nothing more.

You can't even make such a system within few days. Why you talk for stuffs that cannot be done? Want prove me wrong? 

Add me on skype and make me such a system in 2 days and make a preview.  

 

Even a simple AI path finding is not considered true AI.
