Generally, the easiest mean to track something is to rely on "visual" things. By "visual" things, I guess you got a message about victory/defeat. You base your work on 2 packs which got their own errors, added to L2J own errors. Don't expect to do something awesome. You got no idea about what you are selling. - aCis is a IL fork, so basically you won't be interested (com.l2jserver == postIL pack). - your script is really lame for many reasons : ugly coding style (very long for nothing you can do the same in 10 lines using efficiently bypasses, with event name == buff id) not optimized (if if if if... means it verify each event until it reaches the good ones, and then continue to check events even if a good event is found) python script is a bad idea since you use postIL you got no reason to use python anymore (added to that python errors are sometimes very hard to understand. Anyway your error is more simple, you didn't build bypass correctly (on your HTMs). as dpbBryan said, look for existing exemples of what you want to do. I must add many things are different from L2DC. Finally L2DC is a private fork, and you shouldn't receive any support for it. The only supported packs so far are L2J/L2JFree - until rules change in that forum. For others forks or private, you should use respective forums (and as you know, as L2DC got special rules, you are supposed to be alone - the choice to use leeched stuff bhubhu). It probably is possible, as you said yourself, the playSound command. The thing is, it stops current music whatever it was and launch the one you have given. Check the "jukebox" from admin panel as example. If you want a particular sound is played in loop on a zone, you got 2 choices : - make a unique task broadcasting play sound packet to all characters, that task is a repeating one (timer following song duration). - create one timer per ppl. Problems of each system : - you have to wait timer is up to listen the music when you enter the zone (and putting it at entering in the zone is wrong too, as if you enter/leave the zone fast that's stupid). - one timer per ppl means heavy use of ressources for near nothing. General problem : - both systems work with zones. About client side I don't have enough knowledge to answer 100% to you, but I would say "yes". The fact is, there are stupid customs with counter strike sounds, so...

One thing which is sure, all private IL packs are pure crap, based on public releases / private leech with some fixes from others privates packs. Why to pay when you got the same for free. But if they exist, that means they got clients. The fact they're private mean you got NO CONTROL about content. When you can say a free project is crappy because you read their codes, a private you got no way to control quality until you eventually pay. And that's a very big issue, because privates mainly do money selling 3 "unique" functions, and all their codes is the same than an existing source. For the lambda client, it works ; they think devs are ubber pro etc, but when it comes the time to make updates, you got only your eyes to cry. So final answer, 2 choices : Choose your favorite pack according of : - existing stuff (community, actual content) - future possibilities (devs/community you think are the most competent, basically) Help it (report/fix errors) OR sit on your ass and wait without complains. Finally, another word : you say there are class balances issues, Lineage 2 isn't supposed to be balanced (did you simply read their forums), so lose ALL your hopes when you speak of fullbuff shit 80 hours with +50000 overenchanted stuff (NOT THE WAY TO PLAY L2 WHATEVER GREEKS THINK ; FORMULAS AREN'T MADE FOR THAT). See any video of Dvp powning lvl 70+ hitting for 5K+, not even fullbuffed, and tell me if it's supposed to be balanced.

It is currently stupid. Added to all IL changes (Olympiads, Prismeval Island stuff and such) you have to remove, you have to fix all packets opcodes (400 packets) and added to that, L2J issues. About general issue about MMOs, you can say there is a general MMO crisis. Many MMOs go F2P. P2P model isn't viable anymore, asiatic games understand it years ago. As L2 gameplay is kinda unique compared to others game (PvP), and softwares such as L2J allow server owners to do whatever they want (only limited by imagination, which I must agree, many ppl on this forum lack), I don't think you will see L2 private servers die so fast. The best proof is there are many IL servers, when emulator itself sucks, and that chronicle is 5 years old. I agree too about the fact C4 isn't as loved as IL. Anyway, gl about your madness.

You know as me problems I meet with IL. C4 is even worst, not in term of gameplay (well there are things to heavily correct) in terms of exploits. Added to that, you haven't enough skills to correct it, as you know, L2J projects are often a one man project, and ppl join after. If the central wheel is broken, don't expect the windmill to make flour. Finally, you need to rely on L2OFF C4 servers in order to correct it. IL OFF are already low, C4 is kinda inexistant. So resurrect but based on what ? Your own experience of C4 ? :P Nothing more to say, gl, and consider my words :P.
