    yes, I sav this error..... in 2006 in 2006 c4 server comunity fixed it and released document about this and many many other problems of c4 now c4 server comunity is dead and documents gone too but i think that somewhere on the net they still exists i cant help because in 2006 there were 100+ developers of c4 and i decided to be 1 developer of c1 in 2016 seems here are the same 1 developer of c1 alive, and 100+ developers of c4 all dead

    in chronicle 1 clients there are no red markers when one-time quest is finished so your problem solution is simply choose right client well. also you can choose any client an use chronicle 1 method to remove those marks

    you telling that you want to build l2 server then your choice is chronicle 1 but if you just babling about l2 server, but only want build money, chronicle 1 is not your choice
