  1. For those interested about H5: I will not be part of the C6 Legacy administration and/or development team, H5 development will continue normally. Few things about C6 Legacy: I didn't want the C6 AEPvP to go live again for personal reasons, although Leo insisted that the files would go to waste along with the C6 fans. I authorized Leo to administrate a new C6 pridelike based on the AEPvP files with the condition that all AEPvP features would be dropped resulting into a pure C6 pride server. This Legacy labeled server will be 99% C6 Pride-like with hardcore but enjoyable and rewarding farm. I personally don't expect a HUGE online count and this is not Leo's top priority, the Legacy server will be composed of players who like the server and don't intent to harm it but only to enjoy the great PvP and PvE experience the L2AEPvP server offers. The server will be powered by AEPvP Patch v0.1 (Untested / Beta) AEPvPUpdater: The client will force full-check and auto-update ON EVERY client. Packet Encryption. (PHX, L2NET, L2WALKER) won't work HWID Banning system. Control of concurrent connections per HWID (Leo wants a limit of 2) Extremely hard to be bypassed Virtualization/ Adrenaline / Bypass/ ESP/ MEMEDIT detection For those that don't care for the technical aspects of the patch, the AEPvP Patch will block 99% of the botters, the other 1% will be detected and checked manually from the server. The AEPvP patch is under BETA testing, inconvenience and false positives from any side are possible. Good luck to Leo. Kind Regards AEPvP Admin/ Head Developer
  2. why don't you create a new ID then?
  3. did you try confirmdlg?
  4. bugged 2010 shit crap files + not trusted / unskilled / scammer
  5. The L2AEPvP project is recruiting motivated and skilled people that are willing to invest some of their free time developing a H5 pridelike server. What we do: -Develop any complex / big feature -Server and Client side coding -Unhardcode anything to XML -Maintain the Client Patch -Create any tool that will make development easier What we lack (this is where you're comming in) -Creativity/Developing XMLs (Enchant System, Custom Instances, Event Engine, APCs AI, generally everything will be in XML format) -Administration skills (previous experience is mandatory) -New and fresh pridelike ideas. -Custom pridelike class balancing -Custom pridelike economy What we offer: -Your contribution earns you a permanent percentage on the server's share (I currently own 80% of the project) -You will work with a motivated team of professionals who are willing to share their knowledge on server developing and coding -You can request any server side feature to be broken down to XMLs so you can edit it even on live server with lots of options -New skill/item stats and any XML extension upon your request -Code any feature you want (If its approved by the administration) Avoid applying on this topic if: -You don't want to apply as a server partner -You are not familiar with pridelike servers -You want to be a GM on the server (GM status can only be earned) -You don't have a background as a pridelike server developer / admin -You have a player mindset If you feel like you can contribute send me a PM
  6. AFAIK even hardware firewalls internally use iptables. Except if someone writes his own OS for the firewall a case I really doubt since the iptables that comes with the linux Kernel is an extremely good and reliable base. I may be wrong because I don't have much hands-on experience with firewalls
  7. None will do that for free. Keep in mind that iptables has nearly zero overhead and a very slight one in case of a few million records
  8. Without the SaaS thing this software is cool and applicable for all servers, althought I would rewrite it in PHP if I had the necessary time. Good luck on this.
  9. iptables is your friend, it can do anything you describe and literally ALL firewalls are just user interfaces for plain iptables. Just look for a guide on the net
  10. Okay, fine. Its common sense that receive is "after" and not "before" you've just tried to find something "wrong" so you can blame me, as I've described before. You are right, I am retarded and you are the genius here, now give the guy the proper answer but don't forget about my challenge! PS: My updater that you hate that bad already hooks this functions and is able to send/receive whatever packet you like in Interlude.
  11. You really got to do something about your English, adding on top of that the zero programming language you have you're just acting like a 40 year old fat whore that has never seen a dick in her whole life. Quit trying so hard to hate on me and stop embarrassing yourself everyday with posts that show how clueless you are about developing code server or client side. If you hate me that bad, do yourself a favor go learn how something actually works, C on win32 for example, go learn it and come here to talk the crap out of me with real facts. This is getting really out of hand... Let me explain "better" what I said because what I said refers to people with actual knowledge and not a clown who continuously tries to find a mistake or a typo, so let me give you a chance for a better understanding. -You can hook packet send function from the client side BEFORE encryption takes place. You will have access to the opcode, the buffer and the buffer length to either read it, modify, trigger your own events or even create your own packet structure via unused opcodes. -You can hook packet recv function from the client side AFTER it has being decrypted from the client, This can be used to read a new packet you've created from the previous step, plain read or even trigger an event from it. About MITM server. YES it IS a server moron, a server is whatever services a client, in this case its a Proxy man in the middle on the local Client and the external GameServer and of course its gonna have the enc keys to filter all the actual traffic and not gibberish you've described. Edit: Since you've being breaking my balls recently, I can openly invite you to a code challenge: either cpp or java and I let you choose it
  12. as for mitm, I already have plans for a mitm proxy server that will exchange keys with the GameServer so you can do whatever you want, quit wasting my time clown
  13. shut the fuck up mongoloid and don't quote me again. You can hook internal L2 send/recv functions before encryption happens these are basics
  14. 3 ways: 1) win_sock recv send hook: you will get encrypted byte arrays (easy but useless for modifications) 2) debug your l2 find packet send and packet receive function offsets before encryption takes place (somewhat hard to find offsets) 3) create a c++ server locally to work as man in the middle between you and the server (hard but good) there probably exist better or easier ways that I am not aware of since I haven't done any research on this regarding L2
  15. It works over bow / sword animation because the client doesn't have animations for this weapons on classes other than Kamael. Its not meant to replace bows or swords, this feature will promote a fairer trade value on these weapons but they will also be playable for non-Kamael classes and probably will also be decent on the correct build. Rapiers will be a hybrid type of sword - dagger skill, it will be capable of using all sword, dagger and Kamael moves, it will be fun imho. Crossbows are high agility-utility weapons that compromise attack range and power for quick-accurate shots. The main reason I've decided to do this, was to correct a false mechanic L2 had for ages, and none before me tried to. The only real reason other classes can't equip the Kamael weapons is because the Koreans where bored to create crossbow - rapier animations from scratch, so they just came up with a stupid mechanic which doesn't allow other races to equip these genuine and beautiful weapons. I acknowledge that the animations may not be correct, but they are no way as bad as you describe.
  16. It's not for your lil pound boy, 20 may be a fortune in your crap country
  17. Ave I think you've found yourself a new girlfriend, gz keep it up boyz
  18. The server side development has started! Rapiers and Crossbows will be usable by all classes! They are obviously applicable only on very specific builds. Next on development will be the brand new APCxAI engine that will fully replace the old one. The old one can be seen on the video bellow, it was partially implemented on C6 AEPvP
  19. Excuse my arrogance, but I had to correct the Holy prayer
  20. This is correct. This time I will work to countermeasure anything you've described. My past mistakes was that there existed features that were not documented on the forums (guides) for players not familiar with L2Pride context. I am going to make this server far more complex than anything seen on L2 and EVERYTHING will be documented and well explained for everyone to enjoy. Back when we used to play L2 and enjoy it was because we were exploring new things. Now that is missing from modern servers and players are bored easily, this time I will focus on that
  21. its the correct answer, you have to paralyze the character server side but without the frozen effect on the client side. In case speed is still an issue you should reduce the player's speed for that duration
  22. what the fuck did I just read, naming is perfect at least on aCis L2Object -> parent of everything (abstract, not an instance) L2Playable -> parent of all playables (abstract, not an instance) L2Character -> parent of all characters (abstract, not an instance) L2Summon -> parent of all controllable pets (abstract, not an instance) L2Npc -> parent of all passive Npcs (abstract, not an instance) L2Attackable -> parent of all characters that can be attacked (abstract, not an instance) L2PcInstance -> child of Playable (instantiable) L2MonsterInstance -> child of attackable (instantiable) L2NpcInstance -> child of L2Npc (instantiable) This name hierarchy exists since l2j and its genius, in contrast with the russian style "Player" which has nothing to do with project hierarchy and its just renamed as that as a simplistic amateur developer's POV
  23. I will drop this here =D
