Hello,

I am going to open an l2 server soon and i would like some information about paypal's donate, is it possible someone to claim his money back? If its possible what should i do in order to avoid issues like this?

yes it is possible to take the money back and its also possible to ban his character after he do that, but I am sure he wont need the char after he decide to leave your server. you cant avoid that unless he donate for friends and family

Yes it is possible. If your plan is donation via pms and paypal and bla bla you have to be carefull. on the other hand you can put automatic paypal button with a good description but the type must be Donation and not any other thing (you have more chances to refund them). And the last thing is , do not withdraw money before the refund date limit passed..

If he wants to chargeback he will.Friends and family wont help if he explains the situation how L2private servers work.

This ISNT a donation : If u "donate" X,u will get the Y item.Thats the definition of BUYING.If u "donate" more,u get "better" item.

U arent his friend: Private server is business.U aint family or friend.

 

If his english aint sh1t and his paypal history is decent,he can pretty much get a chargeback (saying crap like ur server closed in a week etc) .With F&F it can become even worse since u avoid paying fees even if this is income for ur private server.

 

Use btc like a good  sh1t admin.

You can win paypal disputes, you need a good detailed T&C on your account creation also EULA terms, i suggest you go full legit with a private company and add to it legit T&C and link it to the server. You can prevent all chargebacks from paypal no matter what if you got the skills to create auto logs of item delivery and make the terms detailed that the item is auto delivered after payment is confirmed. It is a headache but is worth working on.

With a paypal donate system on your website you will dont have any problems...donations seems like donate(gift)and none can refund them

by chargeback you can refund absolutely everything, paypal will in worst case close your account if you open too many chargebacks, but seller will be always fucked in the end :D worth to note you will also pay 20usd addational fee once chargebacked, even if it was payment for 2usd

      Update M54: Global HP/MP/CP consumable handling expanded beyond combat-only usage. Offensive mage idle recovery with learned skill Battle Heal. Spellhowler/Storm Screamer prioritizes Hurricane, using Vampiric Claw mostly below 90% HP. Major structural refactor initialized: Added category/class organization such as Archer, Dagger, Tank, Mage, Healer, Support and Specialized class files. Further structural cleanup. Extracted combat memory/state and more class-policy logic from the main controller. Added global stuck/inactivity watchdog for bots blocked by terrain/geodata. Added unreachable dropped ground-item timeout/temporary blacklist. Reworked Necromancer/Soultaker PvP: Dominator level 78+ maintains learned Arcane Power toggle on. Overlord/Dominator level 44+ maintains learned Soul Guard toggle automatically. Stability/scalability update: Bot controller ticks staggered instead of all starting in the same phase: Same 350 ms update rate retained Reduces simultaneous AI workload bursts. Removed the old manual aggressive-monster EVT_AGGRESSION bridge. Phantoms now use native Lucera setActive() behavior so monsters aggro them naturally. Added handling for: Two-handed weapons vs shields Full-body armor vs separate leggings Added all-grade Soulshots and Spiritshots to bot inventory/replenishment so custom lower-grade weapons still use the correct shots. Mage profiles that already use Blessed Spiritshots keep that behavior with all relevant grades available. First save the bot normally so it exists in table:         lucera_autobots Then open:         lucera_autobots_items Find the row with the same bot_id and edit only the equipment slots you want. Example: weapon_id = 6608 shield_id = -1 helmet_id = 0 chest_id = 0 legs_id = 0 gloves_id = 0 boots_id = 0 This means: weapon_id 6608 → custom weapon shield_id -1 → no shield all 0 values → keep normal default profile equipment After editing the DB, despawn and respawn the saved bot so M54 reloads its equipment overrides.
