SweeTs Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Ram, more, better. At least 8GB, I would say. Ghz, doesn't really matter which one you choose. SSD, ofc better than HDD. Quote

You need 3 things for a l2j server. Around 15kb/s upload per player. Ram because in jre the more the better. SSD because you wanna read and write fast. Quote

Just curious there are many programs to check what kind of resources a client request everytime he perform an action.. the problem is when players gather in 1 spot and pvp or have siege then the request come in bigger rate and faster. The average consumption is 15kb/s. It is not affected by anything other that the ability of the server to maintain a stable connection with the client. I dare you to try it. @SweeTs don't you need at least a Cpu with high frequency front side bus ? How can you know that mate ? i mean , what is your source of such information ? SweeTs Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) @SweeTs don't you need at least a Cpu with high frequency front side bus ? The cpu doesn't matter that much. Also, all available CPU's you will have to choose from and waaaaay enough for a l2 server :) Massive lag AD mentioned, it's due to low fps. Interlude is so old, that's why.
