  1. Star wars... Idiota Seniorita? The sole reason why L2 is compared to star wars is because of highly enchanted weapons. Back to the basement uneducated orphan. Yes there is 1 zone. Maybe add 20? So you could have 4 people per zone? Customs are fun. Problem? Don't like customs - press back on browser window. Why bother bashing on a server comparing it to others if it is SO different? As if customs were added because the dev was bored. Everything is in it's place. Just 1 more clueless hater.
  2. Botting for what... There is 1 buffer class in GoD. Ignoring the whole stacking crap with SwS/BD + new buffs.
  3. You get SP from vote rewards, so you don't even have to play your main actively to enchant skills. Lot's of people just look for things to bash on. A majority of unneeded things are removed. There is no cluster - no running back and forth to set up your char; no lousy quests; and whoever thinks there is too much farm - you are mentally degraded. You start at lvl 85 and get free vesper gear. Whats the difference between elegia and vesper? 5% pdef? If you want PvP, ganks or clan - you just log in and do that. :/ As far as activity goes - wow, how can you be so clueless?
  4. Summons are strong but die to force classes and AOE classes pretty easy.
  5. Pointing out to the person who said he did 300 dmg with a titan... To take it further - you won't find more than 3 servers with class variety as large as this. You can always just play on servers which have name, fame and players, and play 1 of the 3 reliable DDs, 1 support, being bishop, and 1 CC being doombringer; whilst jamming CP/MP pot keys with your penis. (to all who complain ingame that the server is inbalanced and have not realized that you can lose in a game sometimes)

  7. I play as a Judicator and I can win 1v1 against glads/mages/daggers.Which is like half the server. Summoners are strong. Doombringers mostly do what they always did. So do soulhounds, although they can hit hard at some stages. You need EEs/SEs and so on. Daggers without most of their buffs and so on are not much. Archers are mostly ranged spike damage. Hit hard, but are easy to kill. Tanks are annoying, they don't deal alot of damage, but largely outlast most of everything else, and have kicker buffs. SKs just vamp the sh1t out of you despite their low HP. Even with so, its pretty baller. You can roll a dwarf and still win (fatal strike can crit up to 2k if armor crush lands and final secret/phsyical pose are up, and golem crits 1k+). You need to get used to it, but everything plays along well. Its pretty balanced.
  8. There is enough to do. Population is not largely spread out. There are direct elements encouraging competition. You make a character - you're in endgame. A server which actually functions as a PvP server. Gonna be enjoyable.

  13. Stereotypical balance methods based on chronicle. Shittiest crap ever. People constantly trick themselves into believing that whatever happens in one chronicles stays there, and refuse to play it because of said "kamalol shits" and "bad balancado". Typicaly rate increase. PvP servers wtih ANY farm at all for the purpose of progression (aka lvling/subs/ common necessarily needed items) Unneeded custom currencies that make things confusing -> Change A into B, then B into C, then C into D to then receive Item X of which 300 will you need to get a wep. Unoriginal concepts. Which is why I probably played 10 privates server in my life all together, excluding betas/tests. People just reuse the same thing over and over and over. I do not understand how the hope to interest a population. I think it's better to make a fail concept and be sure what can be done and what not, rather than doing the same thing over 3 years and have 40 players max for 1 week. Because you fail once - you learn.

  15. Changes are written ingame. You can ask him to make it more obvious and make an html window pop-up on log in.
  16. I played the first 1 week of beta, back when thing were completely screwed. And things changed. It became a lot better. You are just throwing out the typical "OH he changed something, therefore the server will suck" shout. No point in judging it so. I played SM,ES, SLH, PW and from the point of view of a summoner, the server is pretty good. Non of the "customized" skills break or hurt the server, they only compliment it.
  17. And then people complain that class B is overpowered whilst class C is not when you play class A. Changes have to be made. Dunno what customs you are talking about.
  18. But BDs still have their own heavy armor mastery with 15% crit dmg resistance, and their own UD. With a healer in a group...its arguable if they would be going down a lot.
  19. I'm not sure how the additional skills would work with "Balance". BD takes final secret, pain+spirit, death shot, blockade. At which point you get a decent controller, which can root, medusa, disarm, buff with a decent buff, and hurt very badly with hex+final secret+death shot. Other than that, looks very interesting.
  20. How user friendly would altering code here be? You'd typically be required to have good fundamental knowledge of java, and more over, the source. Would it be possible to "construct" a working feature, merely knowing a concept? (perhaps not the best thing to do, as all kids would flock it building pro servers and stuff)
  21. Yeah it's fun. A bit too much damage. But it's once you get levels and get used to paying attention its ok. Some bugs persist.
  22. Out of the box l2j high rate PVPs. With lvling up and farming from 0, all the new confusing noblesse from some weird quest from siege over half of the map. Unthoughtful, non creative server holders, who simply launch a server thinking it is a childs play and they will have shit loads of ppl on. L2 is L2, if I wanted to really play it, involving all the challenges and features of a real L2 game, I'd play retail. When I am looking at privs, I'm not interested in the countless pathetic copies of the original game.
