lol it's nice. At L2 you can fall asleep, cause most of the skills looks pretty much the same, at that vid it looked pretty interesting 'n' colorful.

 

It's a matter of taste. I hate all colorful magics because it makes it look Walt Disney-like.

l2 copy l1 :)) actually as far as i read , l2 action happen way back before L1.
