That's the issue. You think I only have those customers with negative experiance. I don't beg my customers to "post positive review in my topic at MXC's". 80% of them don't even have an account here. I don't care.

I've worked with Ave a lot lately on designs and other projects. He has always delivered as quickly as possible sometimes within a week, maybe two. Personally, I’m patient, so I’ve never had an issue with the wait. I’m not trying to defend him blindly, but I genuinely don’t believe he would mess someone over for €60 €100.

Sometimes he's inactive, likely due to real life responsibilities, but I don't judge everyone has their own situations. I understand that some people are impatient and want their orders completed quickly, but considering the quality of his work, I have no problem waiting.

Of course, people react differently to delays, and that’s fair. But in my experience, I can't call him a scammer he's always delivered what I ordered.

So he's like unsimple you would say? Cherry picking who's getting scammed.

 

Deliver 5 projects, don't deliver/delay the other 2 projects.

Of course he won't scam you because he know what's gonna happen after since he's dealing with the admin himself.

Do You understand the fact, I won't scam anyone? Can You grasp such idea? 
Second of all, if a random restaurant on Google Maps has 599 positive reviews and few negative ones with 4,8* score, do You ask Google to block it's profile and burn the place down? No? Then why the fuck You are crying about my random delays? If someone can't get a CUSTOM DESIGN on time, I refund. I'm not 16  y.o. anymore. I don't make living out of this L2 bullshit. Never did. Since 2012 I've made shit tons of projects. How many delays did I have? 12? 15? Out of hundrets of projects.
Calm Your tits please. If I would actually take 4k euro and NOT deliver and NOT refund - admins can ban me. So don't compare me to Simple.

And just so You know, Celestine sent me customers, so it's not like I've worked with him on his account all the time. That's another thing You won't understand.

For exact same reason - there were accusation that I scammed. When was it? 2016? But in that time, admins actually didn't listen. I got banned, then unbaned (when I prooved I've refunded) but I was trash talking to mods. When few months later same shit happened, Grisom (?) old global mod, banned me anyway. You can read somewhere on forum how I was shitting on him for doing that (from other account because original account was banned) - which was banned too. He is not here anymore I think. Back in the days I was well know for not carring that much if I was talking to mod or admin, I didn't hold my tongue. Now You know. Just like You know - if I delay, I deliver or refund. I'm not a scammer, even if my old time haterz love to repeat themselfs like mantra. I don't care.

It's not because I'm an admin that he treated me differently. I actually gave him several clients from my side without him even knowing they came from me, and most of them had no issues. I was also waiting 3–4 weeks at times for things I bought from AvE, even when I was in a rush. He still delivered in the end.

That said, I'm not defending him blindly. I'm just saying it's unlikely he’d risk scamming someone over 60–100€, especially knowing how quickly word spreads here.

Recently, I took on a project for a company.
The people there – polite, trusting (or in other words, completely unsuspecting) – told me the job had to be delivered within 3 weeks.
I agreed, naturally – with my signature professional attitude, something like “yeah, sure, it’ll get done, don’t worry!”

Now, deep down, I knew full well that in 3 weeks, I’d be lucky to have written the title of the project.
But I decided to play it cool. Why?
Well, because I was in full anti-professional mode, and I was already planning the excuses I’d use when the time came:
– “Guys, I caught covid…”
– “Something tragic happened in my family…”
– “A team member quit and everything fell on me…”
You know, classic Balkan drama. Why should only others use them?
 

So, 3 weeks go by.
I’ve managed to do about 40% of the work (which I personally consider a small miracle), and the people in charge come to me and say:
– “Since you didn’t deliver on time, we’d like the €450 advance payment back.”
 

And I, with Oscar-level seriousness, respond:
– “I’m sorry, but I’ve already completed 40% of the work. I can’t return the money.”
 

They looked at me, smiled, and said the unforgettable line:
“It’s not your fault… we’re the idiots for trusting you.”
 

And at that moment, I didn’t feel offended.
I didn’t feel guilty.
I felt… validated.
Not professionally.
But Balkan-style.


 

Conclusion:
Consistency, professional responsibility, and respect for agreements...
are fundamental values.
Nowadays?
Rare.
Like an uncut diamond... that someone tossed in the trash because they thought it was just a weird-looking rock.

Sure, you can fool people once, twice, maybe even three times…
and get away with it.
But eventually, even the most well-meaning fool out there…
will wake up.
And when they do, they'll replace you with someone else.
Someone more reliable.
More professional.
Or at least… someone who’s better at coming up with excuses. 😏

    • As far as I know, L2Gold stated (unofficially) that closed for legal reasons. Although, my estimation is that it had reached such low popularity (believe me I know, I played till the last day), so they closed it because of that. As for "other" copies or w/e. I believe that everyone has the right to do what they think is best.  I have to say, I find your claims a bit exaggerating. Many servers have done a good job at recreating such a server. There are actually leaked files of C4 L2Gold (L2OFF) so many owners started working from there (L2Gold.cc (old Avellan), L2Gold.in, L2Gold.co etc.) There are other owners that took the idea 1 step further, adapting L2Gold in higher Chronicles and started working on a brand-new style with old features along. @Trance @Brado @To4kA (those are some of the owners that I can think of right now). I think you should re-think your opinions and don't judge them all together. Many of the servers you've mentioned has actually done a decent job and tried to take the brand, one step further. The argument here is that everyone should do what they want. Community will judge if it's good or bad.
