We added ~not complete yet~ L2PAGMA UPDATE NOTE in "Server Progress" section on https://l2pagma.com. There are all the most important information about Chapter 2 and L2Pagma Seasonal Server. We will update the note on a regular basis. Follow server progress and have fun in the game. Approximate date of Chapter 2 is on 01.07.2022.

You didn't understand our intension. We've just created a new game on L2OFF Lineage platform to show not Lineage which is very well known to everyone, but a new project of definitely new game that we have been working on for a several years. It was showing a demo of the game to illustrate a new picture of fantasy world in mmorpg but people only saw a custom Lineage in it and judged the game like you did that we are here to kill old and almost dead Lineage instead of going in and trying the new conspect. That's why I stopped writing on forums, chat rooms and other similar places, because it's a waste of time.

If you making new game so make new name, coz lots of things not making sense. You have online like 3-5 ppl and you spend years with this project.  If you are doing it for fun for your friends it’s ok but you will never have online, like any random bugged java pvp srv

Lineage is a game like any other, copyrighted. In fact, every private server puts the server on illegally. Therefore, you couldn't call it your own name, it's against the law. It would take ages to create your own game platform with a large virtual world, stuff etc. For this you need a large company and huge financial resources. We wanted to show the game on this platform because the game doesn't differ that much, although the movement mechanism, controls and other things would be different. It's about putting something universal into practice. We know exactly how many people play on the server and we realize that without a proper on-line no one will try, even if the game is perfect.

Try invest more $$$ in to adverts, who knows maybe I am wrong, visual effects looks really nice.

The idea itself is very good, but I am put off by the fact that not many people play here and apart from hitting rb, there is no pvp. If some people came to the server, I would be happy to come back myself, because I had a good time here.

I guess you would have to invest in clans, because advertising doesn't get you anywhere. I have no idea how to help you but I keep my fingers crossed for you.

We would like to announce that we are going to open two additional servers under the one name Pagma Network in the near future, depending on interest of this project. The first server is c1 on off files, the second is c4, also in the original version. We will provide more details on this venture soon. All interested are invited to take part in the discussion on our discord https://discord.gg/NCCKkbVZMX


The servers will be opened if we get strong support from the community. You can also decide which server is your favourite. Thanks to this, we will get a wider overview of this situation.

      The heavy lifting is done in the client, because while you can get away with small imperfections in the java, everything in the client must be impecable. So, if you haven't touched the client, I'd say pick the newest protocol version you can find the client editing tools and Interface.u (mandatory) / NWindow.dll (better to have it) / Engine.dll (optional) sources for. At the very least, you need the Interface.u to fix the Clan Window and enable skill enchanting on Classic/Essence versions, if you decide to use one of them instead of MAIN/LIVE.

      Thanks for clarification. Do you think the newest clients offer solid advantages compared to the classic ones like Salvation? I'm also in the process of porting h5 to one of them just for the sake of it, so I was wondering if I should just attempt to go to the newest possible.

      Upgrading to Salvation is exactly the same as upgrading to the newest client with the only difference being access to free-shared client editing tools and resources. I am speaking from experience. I have upgraded my HF source to one of the newest clients by myself (in terms of server side. got help with the client) and hit every single wall there was in the process. Now, I already have several multi-protocool server cores so I can easily compare different approaches to tackling the same issue, which also helped the learning process. Best way to learn would be to use this one (link below) to snoop around and figure out what has been changed in the server side (the packet structure will be different, for sure, but works for understanding/figuring the process out in general terms). https://github.com/iBezneR/L2J_SunriseProject_Purity The client side will always be the same, always the same files, only the DAT structure will be different. I personally wrote myself some parsers for the data of the DAT files from OLD -> NEW client.
