multiboxing not allowed, even by using multiple machines as confirmed by staff in chat, but it sounded as ad hoc rule pulled out from ass when someone asked about it
and yeah, this is not stated in the official rules
sounds like a server where you get banned too easily even if not breaking official rules
there could be dozens of such hidden rules and this is low rate server when price of getting banned is too big
if you are more capable than average player you will suffer
not worth my time
probably 100ppl max online due to this rule

p.s.
I didn't even download the patch so this is not comming from some player getting banned and coming to flame

I just joined the server and I like the files, Vangath confirmed ! I don't like the normal respawn bosses, it should be retail like 12h +8h random

Another fun thing is that the server became quite known only when reborn was placed on hiatus, and the builds are like very similar, some features never seen anywhere before

( you may not see it from player perspective, but if you will truy to bot...)

Server is a waste of time, no population, stupid rules they make up while they go.
Admins are SJW Trash that ban you for dark humour on chat.
If you wanna spend 3 weeks getting to 40, doing stupid classchange quests just to find you will never afford c grade unless you play a nuker go ahead.
Better not interact in chat cuz you might get banned for telling a joke.

Server just have a new record of players everyday, rules are made to people respect each other.

Adms online all day, if players have a problem they can just pm on discord channel.

Second Job Changed Class not on donate shop, so less p2w, everyone need to make your quests, it takes some hours only, project is based on oldstyle gameplay. If Interact is become "racist" or anything like that, yea sure you can be banned. I invite you all to check our Discord channel, also play our server, OFF Files, no bots, no P2w, active Adms, and growing everyday.

class change is not p2w also and you can attract even more players, nowadays people are avoiding these kind of servers where they have to make the quests because it is what it is,quests are annoying. Adena is x2 while xp is x3 so adding an option to change it for adena is helping the players but with the current situation you force them to make them. Instead of giving people the options make the quests or don't join you can give them: make the quests or buy them so adding it for adena+donation isnt p2w but a win-win so think about it

and " project is based on oldstyle gameplay" is not a good option for l2 players in 2020, they want to play the game and not to waste time doing quests

"everyone need to make your quests, it takes some hours only" - indeed but its some hours / char, so that means if you want to make your own crafter, spoiler, buffers, summoners, destroyers you will waste days and this automatically cuts your will to play ;)

About selling second job , yea its p2w since people dont waste adena teleporting/using shots , players who donate will get advantage and advantage is p2w, about "force" people to make quest, its the game, the retail game, im not forcing anyone. Yes my project is based on oldstyle gameplay and many people enjoy it, sadly some players think make quest is not part of the game. About players have many accounts and supports, this is a good reason to make quests, cause lifetime of server is longer, its so easier just make AQ chars or supports just buying quests, but on Afterlife you need to "work more" if you wanna do some extra accounts. So if players wanna feel an old style experience in 2020, they are wolcome to join Afterlife.

Hello everyone, after more than two months of online server we noticed that L2Afterlife has become a stable server, we want to thank everyone who turned our project into a success. Observing the current days, we noticed a need to make some modifications in order to bring more players and improve some aspects of the game, so from the next restart Marks for the second class change will be added in the Donation Shop, the schedule of Sieges will be modified and a new event will start . We know that the topic "Second Job" was a very discussed topic at the beginning and very controversial, I repeat that it was not the intention of Staff to add such an option and that we are not thinking about money, since the server only pays for the sale premium / hats, but we understand that it will be easier for new players to join our with such change, so this decision was made, we count on everyone's respect and we ask that the message be passed on, so that our server grows more and more. Information about second class mark price, siege time and about the new event will be posted on the forum today.

Thanks,

Staff Afterlife

    • New Release Video Play in your browser Fermata is now available as an experimental hosted browser preview for current desktop versions of Chrome and Edge. Choose your own Interlude client folder and start playing without installing Fermata. The original client files remain on your device and are read locally for the current session. The browser preview includes keyboard and mouse controls, audio, clipboard support, the complete login flow, character selection, and world gameplay. Parties and Command Channels Party support has been completed across the client. The new party experience includes: Full and compact party member views Character portraits and class icons Party leader indicators CP, HP, and MP values Buff and debuff display modes Party member map and minimap markers Configurable item distribution Party invitations, removal, leaving, and leader changes Assist and targeting controls Party Matching is also available with: Location and level filters Room browsing and paging Room creation and automatic joining Waiting player lists Room chat Member roles and owner controls Invitations from the waiting list Configurable room limits and item distribution Command Channels now support invitations, party and member overviews, member targeting, party removal, leaving, and owner controls. Macros The original macro system has been restored. Players can create up to 24 character macros, each containing up to 12 command rows. Macros support: Chat text and slash commands Active skills Actions and social actions Item shortcuts References to existing shortcut-bar slots Custom icons, names, acronyms, and descriptions Dragging macros onto shortcut bars Editing and deletion from the macro window The original macro help and command reference Open the macro window with Alt+R, Option+R on macOS, or through the System menu. Skills, dyes, and Seven Signs Skill trainers now provide the original skill list and explanation views for normal, fishing, and clan skills. The trainer interface displays: Active, passive, magic, song, and dance classifications Current and next skill levels SP or clan reputation costs Required items Skill descriptions and requirements Active and passive skills also appear in the Character Status window. Active skills can be used directly or dragged onto a shortcut bar. Symbol makers now support drawing and removing dyes. Players can review the Adena fee and resulting base abilities before confirming. Equipped symbols appear in the inventory with their original names and descriptions. The Seven Signs Record window has also been restored. It includes the current cycle and contribution, Festival results, seal ownership, and projected results. Linked items and status effects Hold Shift and click an inventory item to insert it into chat as a linked icon and name. A message can contain up to four linked items. Linked items provide the same detailed tooltip as the inventory, including: Stack quantity Enchantment Grade Description Set information Augmentation details The recipient's local arrival time The server verifies item ownership and supplies the displayed item information. Players using clients without linked-item support still receive the message and the verified item name as ordinary chat. The abnormal-status display has also been expanded. Buffs, debuffs, toggles, potion effects, and other statuses are organized into separate rows. Removable buffs can be dismissed with Alt or Option plus click, or through the right-click removal menu. Movement and world behavior Optional click-to-move pathfinding is now available in the settings window. When enabled, Fermata can: Navigate around walls and other obstacles Follow routes across connected terrain Replan when a route becomes blocked Approach targets for attacks, skills, conversations, item pickup, and following Maintain clearance around corners and narrow obstacles Pathfinding is disabled by default. Turning it off preserves classic straight-line click-to-move behavior. The free-flight camera travel-speed range now reaches 200 percent. World time and skies now follow the connected server by default, including sunrise, sunset, Seven Signs skies, and temporary red-sky events. An optional Time and Sky override remains available for players who want manual control. Rendering and atmosphere A new Global Fog setting offers three modes: Off disables global distance atmosphere while leaving placed fog volumes available. Fast uses Fermata's established height and distance fog. Fancy adds an organic, weather-driven fog layer that can react to wind, clouds, rain, snow, sunlight, lamps, torches, and other local lights. Fancy fog is optional because it requires more graphics processing. Authored sky lens flares have also been restored. The nine-element flare follows the sun and fades naturally behind terrain and buildings. Skill particles can now cast colored light onto characters, terrain, and fog. Skill effect lighting can be switched off independently without hiding the underlying particles. Additional visual fidelity improvements include: Restored authored character and creature sizes Restored time-dependent world lightmaps Restored additional world surfaces Correct authored attack variations Correct weapon, shield, and projectile size, pivot, and rotation Improved skill and NPC names and descriptions More accurate equipment changes without rebuilding unchanged character parts Audio and interface Authored environmental audio has been expanded across the world. Wind, water, wildlife, settlements, day and night schedules, and underwater states now follow their intended locations and conditions. The audio settings now provide separate controls for: Sound effects Music System voice Tutorial voice Master mute The System menu can now open the Macro and Options windows. NPC dialog pages display their supplied page title when available, while untitled conversations use the localized Chat caption. Authoring tools Windows and macOS builds now include the complete Map and Normal-map editors. The Map Editor supports: Placing static-mesh props Moving, rotating, and scaling objects Hiding original map objects Multi-selection Undo, redo, copy, paste, and duplicate Grid, angle, ground, and surface snapping Portable prop and combined scene presets Persistent personal map overrides The Normal-map Editor can select textures from the world or package browser and preview relief under live lighting. The Light Editor has been expanded with: Persistent personal lighting overrides Fog-volume and light-particle controls Emissive-material painting and preview Reusable model-light authoring Portable import and export presets A new Skill Effect Editor can search skills and effect classes, play individual stages or full sequences, and preview lighting, particle color, emitter tuning, fades, offsets, and action-specific overrides. FermaAI remains development-only and is not included in deployed release builds. Performance and fixes Crowded scenes now require fewer draw submissions and less repeated animation work. Character and NPC processing scales more efficiently in populated towns, large parties, and other busy areas. Additional improvements include: Smoother remote movement under load Faster character and NPC animation processing Reduced frame-time and allocation overhead More efficient nameplate, targeting, grounding, and equipment updates Wind changes no longer briefly accelerate water waves or drifting fog More reliable video-recording startup on macOS More reliable world entry when optional server information is unavailable Improved window stacking, dragging, and focus behavior Bug fixes and stability.   Play online: https://web.fermata.gg Download: https://updates.fermata.gg Documentation: https://fermata.gg/docs Test server: play.fermata.gg

    • Aurelian is a free Lineage 2 website template for L2J and L2Off/PTS servers, with a medieval/gold design and three visual themes.   You can use it as a completely standalone website, connect it to Forgeport for live server data, or have the website hosted directly by Forgeport.   Forgeport is a hosted player portal, website and donation store platform for Lineage 2 servers.   The important distinction here: you do not need Forgeport to use Aurelian. The static edition is a complete standalone website.   What’s inside: Hero News Features Rates Store Vote Rankings Sieges Bosses Media Download FAQ   Three themes are included: Royal Gold Crimson Frozen   Two downloadable editions: Static — complete standalone site. Edit index.html and upload it to any static host. Zero build process, everything is bundled locally and there are no CDN dependencies. No Forgeport subscription required. Forgeport-integrated — same self-hosted website, but live sections such as players online, rankings, sieges, store, vote and news pull their data from your Forgeport portal’s public read-only API. This edition requires an active Forgeport subscription.   Hosted version If you use Forgeport, you don’t have to host the website yourself. When you claim Aurelian, your account also gets an activation code / handoff link. Activate it on your Forgeport organization and the website is served directly by Forgeport with the live portal data connected.   So there are three ways to use it: Static → standalone, self-hosted Integrated → self-hosted + Forgeport live data Hosted → served directly by Forgeport + live data   How to get it Create a free account at https://shop.forgeport.net Open Aurelian (€0) and claim it. Download the edition you want, or use the activation code / handoff link for the hosted version.   No card required.   For clarity: the static edition is fully usable standalone and does not require a Forgeport account or subscription. You only need the free shop account to claim and download the files.     Links Aurelian / download: https://shop.forgeport.net/ro/en/products/aurelian-lineage-2-website-template Forgeport: https://forgeport.net Documentation: https://docs.forgeport.net/docs There are also other Lineage 2 website templates available in the shop.   Two images attached: cover + full-page preview.   Please report issues in this thread
