Not really. Its probably the first truly sandbox mmorpg after Eve.

He said like "Focused on the economy" more than 6 times.

I prefer to become doubleagent than play this

If you bother to watch videos and read about the game you will find out a few things:

 

- The core game is funded by the head of the company. He invested in the game 30m of his own money. The game was going to be released even without the kickstarter.

- The kickstarter is for extra features and systems in the game.

- In all the interviews he says that he decided to make this game because he hated how every new mmorpg was pay to win in one way or another.

 

He is talking about the economy so much because the main game mechanic (nodes) is based on economy. For example certain nodes will offer certain advantages over the others if lets say 2 nodes compete for a resource the nodes might go to war in order to get rid of the competition and so on. This is such an amazing concept, i guess you only see stuff like that on EVE.

yeah stop hating and learn about the game its gonna be truly awesome and the development team has a genuine interest in making an amazing game.
