EN Laptop Crashed

Hey guys,

 

I recently(September) bought a laptop(i7 4 cores, nvidia gtx I think 860 or smth, a ssd with windows 10 installed in it and a hard drive 1tb for memory). However, 3 weeks after i bought it, the ssd suddenly disappeared. I googled about that and I saw it was a common problem so I let it go and reinstalled windows 10 on the hard drive. It worked perfectly(only a bit slower) for 2 months until 2 days ago it displayed a message that my ssd drive needs to be fixed. It was weird and I was a bit scared to do it so I let it go. But after a few hours, the screen went black and nothing would happen(I tried everything for the screen to open, it was like when it goes black after inactivity, not completely turned off). I decided to reboot the laptop, but it wouldn't boot again, it stuck on the windows 10 logo with the loading circle forever.

 

Then after a while I rebooted again but this time it stuck on the same thing only with the message preparing auto repair. Again, nothing happened. I tried to reinstall the windows from the usb stick, and it seemed to stuck again on the same screen after the screen saying loading files. However, I let it load all night and in the morning it had loaded successfully. I let it install the windows, which btw took strangely too long(specially at copying files), but after it installed and rebooted in order to open, boom, same loading screen again forever. I let that screen load for a couple of hours and then I got a message saying installation failed, press ok to restart(sth like that). The same thing again.

 

By the way, I have tried entering recovery mode from the usb to reset the windows but it doesn't load again. The hard drive seems fine on BIOS, the SSD appears but 0 GB.

 

My guess is that the hard drive needs to be replaced, but any help is highly appreciated as I am in the middle of my exams(which ironically is computer science ;p).

Use the warranty and give them back the ssd, to fix it, if you suspect that's it's the case. Looks like yeah, ssd is the problem.

 

If it says 0GB, maybe you 'formatted it' / removed the 'partition' and the space is not 'set'. No idea.

Yeah I will when I go back to Greece in 20 days, I am looking for a temporary solution though since I have tons of work done in there.

 

I didn't touch the SSD at all, my guess is that the hard drive is crashed or smth, since it won't even install the windows again.

I got an answer in another forum to try to boot smth called UEFI(literally no idea what is that ;p), gonna try that in a bit.

Δοκίμασες να βάλεις τον σκληρό σου δίσκο επάνω σε κάποιον άλλον υπολογιστή να δεις αν τον διαβάζει?

Δεν μπορείς να ξέρεις πως είναι πρόβλημα του σκληρού, την ώρα που απλά Crasharουν τα Windows..

 

Σήμερα στο μαγαζί είχαμε την ίδια περίπτωση με σένα, φόρτωνε τα Windows 10 μέχρι την στιγμή που έφτανε στο να επιλέξει User. (Αν είχες κωδικό θα σε έβαζε μέχρι εκεί).

Μετά απλά μαύρη οθόνη.. Οπότε, μην φορτώνεις το πρόβλημα στο σκληρό, ακόμη..

Ο δίσκος έχει 2 partition, ένα το κύριο, και ένα για recovery (όπου μέσα περιέχει τα αρχεία των Windows 10).

 

Οπότε, θα σου πρότεινα πρώτα να δοκιμάσεις να δεις αν ο σκληρός σου αναγνωρίζεται επάνω σε άλλον υπολογιστή, (που για να σε βάζει μέχρι εκεί που λες, ο σκληρός δεν έχει υποστεί θέμα, αλλά πιθανών πειράχτηκαν τα αρχεία των Win 10 κατά την επανεγκατάσταση..

Εάν βάλεις τον δίσκο σε άλλον υπολογιστή (Σαν μονάδα USB, μην τον κουμπώσεις σαν Sata 2), και ο δίσκος δεν αναγνωρίζεται, τότε θα έχει Crashaρει ο σκληρός. Και θα χρειαστεί να πας να τον αλλάξουν/επιδιορθώσουν), που δεν πιστεύω πως είναι πρόβλημα σκληρού, αφού όπως σου είπα σε άφηνε/αφήνει να φορτώσεις τα Win10 και απλά βλέπεις "μαύρη οθόνη"..

 

Τώρα, θα σου πρότεινα να κάνεις 2 πράγματα:

1ον) Να πάρεις την εταιρεία του Laptop σου και να τους πεις να σου στείλουν εκ νέου τα/το Disk Recovery (το cd με τα Win10).

2ον) Να του κάνεις Format, και να του περάσεις μέσα τα Win7, άλλωστε τα Win10 δεν είναι προς χρήση ακόμη, άσχετα το τι σου λένε ή βλέπεις στο Internet!

3ον) Να κάτσεις με σταυρωμένα χέρια.. :P

Δεν αποκλείω βέβαια το "θέμα" σκληρού, αλλά σήμερα είχαμε ίδια περίπτωση με την δικιά σου. Θα με βοηθούσες περισσότερο αν μου έδινες ένα Video κατά την προσπάθειά σου να μπεις...

You have to set UEFI while you boot, otherwise you will not be able to (re)install the OS. When the installer load, you have to select the partition on which you want to install the windows, if the boot is not set on UEFI, you can't select the partition, you can't process. I (re)installed several times windows on SSD :P

I installed the windows on HDD, after my SSD crashed 2 months ago.

 

There is an option in BIOS to boot from UEFI or something, so far I didn't need this, even when i re-installed the windows on HDD.

The problem it's not about Hard Drive..

 

And if you want to do recovery, then just remove all partitions who you will found there, and select the only one who will be there, and press "new".

After this, windows will share automatic the partitions about recovery and hard disk (when the format be completed).

Nothing else! Windows will share automatic the partition for the disk recovery.

 

Μην φοβάσαι ρει, άνοιξε το laptop, και ξανά κάνε recovery και επέλεξε τα βήματα που σου δίνω..

Όμως σου προτείνω να φύγεις από τα 10.

Και ΝΑΙ, θα έχουν πρόβλημα και ας τα πήρες εσύ καινούρια!

 

Τεχνίκος Η/Υ είμαι.. Κάνε τα βήματα που σου λέω, και μην φοβάσαι..

Μια χαρά είναι ο σκληρός σου... Βάλε τα 7 σήμερα κι'όλας, και σε 1 ώρα, θα μας στέλνεις από το laptop σου..

 

Διαφορετικά, πήγαινέ τον σε έναν τεχνικό να σου πάρει 70 ευρώ για όλα αυτά, επειδή και μόνο θα κάνει τα παραπάνω βήματα..

 

Κάνε με add στο skype, πάρε με video κλήση από το κινητό, και αφού μπεις σημείο αποκατάστασης, βάλε μου να σου πω τι να πατάς..

(Διαλέγεις από το BIOS να κάνει εκκίνηση μέσω CD/DVD ή μέσω USB, αν δεν έχεις CD), βάζεις μέσα το CD σου/flashaki σου και το κάνεις).

 

Θα σου γράφει "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD."

Πατάς Enter και κάνεις τα παρακάτω..

 

Άνοιξέ το και κάνε το χωρίς φόβο, δεν παθαίνει τίποτα..

HDD do not require it. Yup via bios or while loading you Press f10 or w/e and you select from the list.

Πες μου κάτι, φορτώνει τα Copying files? Πάει δηλαδή 100% και μετά τα υπόλοιπα που είναι κάτω?

ή Crashάρει αμέσως μόλις γράφει "Copying files 100%" ? 

 

Θέλω να μου πεις αν πηγαίνει μέχρι το τελευταίο "Completing Installation" όπου μετά από κάποια δευτερόλεπτα κάνει επανεκκίνηση...

 

Επίσης, αποσύνδεσε όλες τις εξωτερικές συσκευές.. USB, ή αν έχεις ασύρματο ποντίκι, βγάλτο από την USB Port.

Αποσύνδεσε όλες τις εξωτερικές συσκευές.. USB, ή αν έχεις ασύρματο ποντίκι, βγάλτο από την USB Port.

Μετά την πρώτη επανεκκίνηση στο Format(Completing installation), το USB ή το CD-DVD όπου κάνεις Format, δεν χρησιμοποιείτε, και μπορείς να το βγάλεις.. 

 

Αν τα ίδια, τότε φύγε για τα Win7 ή πες να σου στείλουν εκ νέου το CD Recovery..
