Have Stallone destroyed Linage through its donating servers?!

Or do pepole become too comfortable becasue u can donate to everything?!

Watch L2Pow server where u can not donate to everything, ppl do not know what to do...

If u just want to pcp why not just joni L2gang x1000 or smth?!

The allure of the game is gone to farm and pvp with a B grade char while fighting over a farming spot...

New generation of pathetic community, to be honest. They don't know the meaning of the game. They never experienced that. Old players are like dinosaurs..

It's not only about donations, it's fine, you have money and you don't want to farm, then why not. It's about lazy community who wants to gear up in less than an hour.

its ok

more money to me

:gusta:

rather is unfair to play the new mmorpg koreans and farming months to get latest armor/wep then wake up with update to a newer armor/wep ,so ur screwed ,1 good reason to buy gold from bot farmers ,to get everything fast ,and stop enjoy grind

ppl like to pvp and be stronger/better geared than others ,thats about it.

Im also going to buy gold on black desert when its release, no point grinding, wtf? life more important, grinding is not "enjoy the game " ,it makes you unninstal game only just like i di with archeage ,crap gameplay anyway and shitty endgame content/armors etc

The simplest answer is NO!

Why no? Because the current l2 community is looking only for pvp, no matter if they play on x1 or x10000 servers. They don't want to farm, craft etc in order to reach the top.. they want everything on the moment! The whole idea about team play is dead, because most of the players have never seen the official servers in C3, C4, C5... where everything was a team play. So, what do you expect from a player that have never played this game?

Welcome new generation

Actually a reason why youre pushed to donate is because you see another ppl donating, and you think

" why should i waste months to farm/grind when i can donate and be better than those noob donators anyway "

So is not everybody fault, they donate also becuz other ppl force them to donate for looking down at them...

Is not easy to keep alive server with over high online...you need money for server machine, website, for Gms etc...lineage 2 classic us server will alive soon with over 15k online..just wait for that...server will be pay2play but at korean and ru servers players are farming and selling items at ebay etc...there is no way to found-make server without donate bots item sellers etc..

You cant buy everything with money...i remember old times.. exp hours with full party to get 5 6 % at loa...now? You can solo with ur bots - enter million times kamaloka with donate - do pailaka quests and other shits.. you can buy exp cakes...servers are dying in 3 4 moths cause players are making full gear etc in few weeks..no farm = no fun... ppls are not pay for support anymore..

Old players are like dinosaurs and dinosaurs are dead. So let's face it, the old craft, farm, "b grade mind aura" and especially the marketplace community of a server. Lineage 2 was a game where you could do so many things and it was never boring cause of things that "new" players may haven't even heard of. Then they ask why servers are dead after a few months? Idiot admins are taking their money or w/e, and they don't do the favour first. Start playing lineage 2 again to find out what this game means and then you will see only the best to survive. But obviously stupidity is the new era's drug.

A huge & important role in this is played by the "DEVs" and all these crappy/custom servers, bots, hacks, retarded donations, too much greed/hatred that pushed L2 Community into becoming what it is today. Don't blame the players for not wanting to play a normal server, they don't know what is normal in L2 anymore.

Largely disparate opinions.

People keep recalling "normal L2". I don't see the appeal of normal. The common argument was that NCsoft knew what they were doing (with class balance, content, etc), which is bullshit. The game was designed for the korean audience that is so downright retarded because fundamentally dumb things like gender bias exists in the East. NCSoft even admitted in their interviews that the whole class structure was designed around it.

lazy community who wants to gear up in less than an hour.

Honestly, who wants to play the fkn NASCAR race to level 85 still? Going through level 1-70 for 9999th time over the last 10 years is not downright miserable and agonising yet?

What do you achieve by making people lvling/gear up in a week as opposed to lvling/gear up in an hour?

Maybe dinosaurs should do what they do best - stay dead.

Not the communities fault that "devs" keep releasing same shit over and over. As if fkn rebirth hasn't been done a million times before. Or PvP "rewards" that are downright exploitable. Or virtually any form of "events". The community is far smarter than you believe it is.

There was a GM once on infinitel2 that would force TvT events because people would never play the objective, calling the players stupid and incapable of working as a team. The reality was playing objectives in CTF/DOM was worth less than simply walking around kill everything that moved.

You need incentive before motivation. Tired of lvling up on every 1000x server I see just to get to lvl 85 for the millionth time. Been there done that...

That's the point of l2. So, following your 'footsteps thinking', we should give them max lvl, top gear and top ++ of the items, just because they did it milion times before? Get real. Leveling from 1-80 or w/e lvl we are talking about, is also a journey. They still can do the same as they were top lvl.

But the biggest problem servers today have is that there is nothing to do.. Stand in dv wating all day for someone to kill?!

This. When we will give them everything in less than an hour, they have nothing to do. They just afk in town for stupid vote reward for 100% enchant scrolls and such, and they seek for the pvp. If there is no enemy, they leave game cuz "there is nothing to do". That's why leveling, collecting various items is important. You always have something to do.

Get real.

I am real. A lot of people are. Thats why server die in a month. Even those that have the whole "hey spend a week to lvl up for 1 hour of figuring out why this server sucks" journey mode.

EVE online doesn't have a lvling system at all. You don't even get SP for farming mobs. Game is alive for more than L2 and even has regular news articles about it.

Because EVE online was engineered.

Private L2 servers are just copy/paste with no thinking and expecting things to turn out ok just cos. Players move on. It's dev choice to move on as well or stroke their cock trying to figure out why the Journey doesn't work anymore. Probably because it's boring.

There is nothing to do in L2 because everything in it is finite and only a matter of time. Gaining gear? Just get enough adena and its yours. A certain skill? Just grind enough mobs and its yours. When everything is finite there is a clear stagnation point - a time when nothing else is needed. We've been there is a thousand times. We all know it occurs. We need a server where that doesn't occur, i.e. a server with a proper asset economy. Economy isn't just money/adena/currency.

WoW! What you gonna say next? L2 is like World of Warcraft or Blade & Soul?

    • This post originally appeared on MmoGah. Odin: Valhalla Rising is an ambitious open-world MMORPG developed with Unreal Engine 4, offering breathtaking visuals and immersive gameplay. I will share everything you need to know before starting it.     Re-rolling In Odin, re-rolling isn't a practical strategy. Unlike most gacha games, where it's common to reset for better initial pulls, Odin focuses heavily on long-term growth. The earlier you begin playing and developing your character, the more advantages you'll gain over time. Instead of spending your efforts on re-rolling for ideal equipment, it's better to dive in and start progressing right away.   Server Selection Before starting your character, selecting a server is a crucial step. Since Odin doesn't support cross-server gameplay, coordinating with your friends, family, or guildmates is essential to ensure everyone creates their characters on the same server. Take the time to plan with your group beforehand. After deciding on a server, your next major choice will be picking a class.   Class Breakdown Odin features four primary starting classes: Warrior, Sorceress, Rogue, and Priest. Each class comes with its own distinct playstyle and unique strengths, so choose wisely, as your selection is permanent. However, even free-to-play players can create up to three characters on one server, giving you the flexibility to try different options and find the one that matches your preferences.   Quest and Leveling Once your character is created, your initial objective is to work through the main questline. This acts as both a tutorial and a method for early leveling. Odin simplifies the process with a convenient quest button that handles navigation, starts dialogues, and even enables auto-combat. This user-friendly feature allows beginners to grasp the basics of the game without feeling overloaded.   Auto Combat and No Kill-steal Mode Auto combat is an essential feature in Odin, enabling your character to battle monsters autonomously. This system allows you to effortlessly gain experience and loot, even while you're busy studying, cooking, or unwinding. To optimize its use, activate the no-kill-steal mode. This setting prevents your character from targeting monsters already engaged by other players, helping you avoid conflicts or potential PvP situations. However, if a quest becomes difficult to complete due to overcrowded areas, you can temporarily disable this mode to overcome the obstacle and move forward.   Item Management and Potions Don't overlook the importance of consumable items, especially health potions. These can be purchased, along with buffs, from general merchants in villages, and they play a crucial role in improving your combat efficiency and ensuring your survival. Always aim to keep a full stock of HP potions and carry buffs that boost attack, defense, or regeneration in batches of 5-10 for convenience.   Once you've acquired your consumables, assign them to your quick slots located at the bottom center of the screen. Swiping down activates these slots, and items like potions will automatically be used when necessary, so you don't need to worry about them mid-battle. Keep a close eye on your potion reserves, as running out during a tough fight could leave you vulnerable before reaching a safe area. In the early stages of the game, it's better to return to town for a restock if supplies are low rather than risking unnecessary defeats. You can also enable notifications to alert you when your health or potion count drops too low—a handy feature for staying prepared if your attention is elsewhere.   Leveling and AFK Farming Once you've mastered the fundamentals, the next step is to focus on leveling up and enhancing your character. Gaining levels is your primary source of progression early on, as it not only improves your stats but also unlocks crucial game features and new abilities. At this stage, simply sticking to the main questline provides a reliable and efficient way to gain experience.   Additionally, Odin includes a highly convenient idle feature called AFK mode. This allows your character to keep farming for resources and experience even when the game is closed, with a maximum duration of 8 hours per day. It's an excellent option for making progress while you're asleep, commuting, or otherwise occupied.   Gear Upgrades When the time comes to improve your gear, the initial focus should be on upgrading from normal-grade equipment to high-grade items. These provide significantly better stats and can be enhanced further to increase their effectiveness. Enhancing requires enhancement stones and gold, but it's important to stay within the safe enhancement limit. Attempting upgrades beyond this limit carries the risk of destroying your gear if the enhancement fails. Stick to safe enhancements until you've gained more experience and accumulated spare equipment to mitigate potential losses.   Skill Purchases When you've accumulated enough gold, it's time to invest in skills. These are crucial for enhancing your combat abilities and provide key benefits tailored to your class, whether it's increasing damage output, improving healing capabilities, or adding valuable utility. Before purchasing, ensure your character meets the level prerequisites for each skill. Your ultimate goal will be progressing through and completing the main questline in Midgard as you continue to develop your character.   Unlocking Jotenheim Finishing this milestone grants you access to the next region, Jetunheim, unlocking a variety of new content and challenges. This marks your first significant achievement in the game and is an essential early objective to strive for as you progress.   Joining a Guild Joining a guild is a highly beneficial step in Odin. Guilds not only provide opportunities for social interaction and group activities but also offer passive bonuses that can significantly enhance your gameplay. Even if you're not particularly active socially, being part of any guild is advantageous. The guild feature becomes accessible after completing Chapter 4, Quest 19 of the main story.   Guilds provide various perks, including buffs that scale with the guild's level. Additionally, you can earn guild coins by contributing through donations, quest completions, or regular logins. These coins can be exchanged for valuable rewards, such as epic-grade armor. The more you actively contribute to your guild, the greater the overall benefits for both you and the guild itself. Joining early and staying involved will undoubtedly strengthen your progression in the game.   Conclusion Here is the end of this beginners' guide. I hope these tips will help you level fast in Odin.
