This Client Is Too Old... While Compiling.

Question

Howdy devs,

I guess this is going to be a simple problem for you, but for me, it's not. I've already tried multiple ways to solve this, but I didn't succeed. I've been searching over the internet and I didn't found the solution. I've tried to update the client but the problem still appears. Also I changed few Subversion clients like SlikSVN and TortoiseSVN. Any idea? Thanks.

Project: L2JFrozen Interlude

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (x32)

Eclipse SDK Indigo Version: 3.7.2

N0wRny2.png

[exec] Result: 1
[echo] L2jFrozen Datapack Revision: svn: This client is too old to work with working copy '.'. You need
[echo] to get a newer Subversion client, or to downgrade this working copy.
     [echo] See http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#working-copy-format-change
     [echo] for details.

I'll also mention that the build is finishing as successful, but after that some files are missing.

As the ErrorMsg mentions "You need to get a newer Subversion client"! I had the same problem and i got it solved by downloading the newest TortoiseSVN Client. ;)

Tortoise is other story, and generally it's used for smthing other, but well..

As the error say, download newer Subversion (not tortoise :D)

Btw, if you already did that and it's not solving your problem. Maybe you didn't installed/updated your subclipse ?

In the main bar, select Help->Install New Software. From the new window that will popup, press Add site... and write the following link: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.6.x

Your build has been saved as metadata and your eclipse read it having these errors saved. Check .\Workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.debug.core\.launches and delete what's inside.

Whatever... Thanks for the time that you've spent to answer this dumb question. I've found another solution.

1. Downloaded Latest Kepler Eclipse.

2. Installed Maven

3. Compiled with "Clone GIT".

See ya around, topic can be closed.
