Discussion L2Hellas Or L2Acis?

What many, if not 90% of haters forget, it's aCis got free sources. If you want to be up-to-date, you can pay or CONTRIBUTE. I don't get why you always forget you can CONTRIBUTE sharing code - perhaps you got no skills, or no time, but that's your problem and not mine.

 

I got 10+ ppl who shared a good amount of codes in the past to be kept as permanent Inner Circle members, more than 30 contributors overall and got 60+ customers since nov 2012. If you want the pack goes faster, you can code for it, no one will blame you to help aCis. It's even the MEANING of the godamn system. 1€ rev is nothing compared to the amount of time spent coding.

 

Hasha is working on geoengine / spawn manager, Tommy/Fernandopm/Endmost and some others worked on quests, Fighterboss worked (long time ago) to report which commands were flawed, sahar gave me some users report... It's a COMMUNITY pack you see. I say ty to anyone which helps me on changesets.

 

You were working with aCis 2y ago, but in 2y we made shitloads of changes... If you see the same amount of changes in another pack - L2J excluded - be my guest.

 

I don't say my pack is the best, it got flaws, as any pack (without counting the fact I experiment a lot of things and make huge reworks which delayed things by A LOT, such as scripts rework). But I'm the first fork to offer a retail approach. The time where I was just copying L2J to be up-to-date is done since a long time. I code my own codes, I copy L2J when it fits, I edit L2J when it doesn't fit.

 

Anyway, show me your work before saying aCis is failed. My work is also commited on L2J pack, so you should perhaps review your opinion.

 

aCis is not for leechers, and not for idiots. That being said, you're free to use anything you want. My pack is still in developpement, and probably will still be for a long time, as L2J is an endless work.

1st does your mom know you speak with strangers on a forum you bitch? ... 2nd  about my knowledge i worked on aCis and i even helped people here in this fucking forum (not mention their names) so jump off a 50 floor building with your head upside down and tell me how was the feeling. 3rd Did you even read low brain consumer that i wrote both project are good? exept l2jhellas is overloaded with heavy codes and no focus on fixes ? Did you? No. then shut up you 60 years old.

And also about this with knowledge i want tell something to anyone you think you are something because u know how to type a java code in eclipse? you think you are smart and can laugh on others? There are people out there x50000 times smarters, in hacking, in 3d effects, in networks, in programming, e.t.c all i see here is a 60 years old LNG telling me about my knowledge and bla bla. Not my problem if you can't make a proper sentence, you should read a book and go to school, and after that you will change your behavior. I'm talking about facts, while you talk about how small is your world. Your opinion leads to false arguments that can not be substantiated without knowledge.

 

Every pack can end as shitty project handled by a 12 years old kid without knowledge and every pack even with serious bugs can be gold in good hands..

What is the difference between the time you get and the knowledge. L2jhellas need less knowledge and less time because most are ready

aCis is closer to retail (provide custom on their forums) but inside source has no many customs but again aCis can't be used for live if u dont have the proper knowledge

so whats their key in both situation? 1) Knowledge 2) Patient 3) A sandwitch and coca cola 

 

P.s i support boorinio because he work with his mate for free and many hours only for this i support them

      so i suggest you guys do the same to those people and provide some respect even if u beilieve their project is shit they don't consume your air

 

Nothing can be opened without some knowledge. Hellas have not done any rework on it, they just have added customs followed by other revisions regarding the previous one.

 

Acis has no customs because it's silly to add everything that can be found on the internet to make kids using it(plus overloaded the source). You can adapt all the customs can be found from a random project in a few hours, but can you rework everything (in a few hours) on a random project in order to make it retail and stable? You can't.

The retail spawn system will offer real advantages, like territory spawnlist swapping. For instance Seven Signs is supposed to have 4 different spawnlists according Seven Signs state (dusk won, dawn won, none won, running state). We're implementing that, and a lot of hardcoded things will dissapear (4sep coordinates, etc).

 

Retail spawn system is really good for things such as events, as we only activate the zone where the spawns are, and it popups immediately, and when the event ends, we switch off the area.

 

Good luck to reproduce that effect. I could speak of a lot of others things we have done in the past, such as AI rework, handmade scripts, but I just speak with a wall. Continue to speak like idiots about things you got no clue :P.

 

There's none ENDED project so far, aCis would probably never end, deal with it. The only things you can do is to help in order critical stuff is done faster, and we move on less-and-less critical things.

The idea about checking server sounds good since (i give example) yesterday i logged in l2topzone went to latest servers open in new tab all (10 windows) 3 of them were closed already they kept only 15-20 hours i bet others were made with WinX and Joomla templates and others had like "we offer the best events: TVT-CTF-DM"  and i just unistall my chrome... So yes it sounds great because there are many server that does not deserve from wannabe admins and because i've face many people since i upload tutorials i got accept more than 50 friend requests on skype everyday asking for detail and for help. 95% of them are 16 years old who don't know how to make a localhost in navicat either find their real IP to put in l2.ini and they want to open a professional server as they said! anyway suggest it servers checked by someone or whatever cool feature it will prevent xdem from open more servers :P :P joking.

Ps. this is why i tried to conviece boorinio work - focus on retail fixes and quests e.t.c and remove few customizations and how i see he already started:

 

 

 

I decided to announce the near future things that i want to do and i am currently working on the project , heads up!

1)Olympiad fix problem

2)Heal on pets problem

3)2nd Vote Reward System(an automated one to give the players option to choose between this and the npc)(Already done not commited yet)

 

4)All Official Quests support(That's right, high priority target after the whole team egst back together)
