Sure you can run server with 1gb ram if you want you and your friends to log in, its simple!

? There is no problem with 1g ram, until he wants to use geodata. If he wants geodata he simply can't.

 

His problem is server installation, the 1g ram was optional question.

I belive that he don't need geodata if he wants local server to make his friend GM... and have fun :D

I agree his main problem is that he dont search... even if you tell him what guide to go in he will ask in some mins about something else he dont understand and dont try to find so.... teach them to fish guys...

who want server, need to find by himself. day by day more stuffs and finally he can have a decent server.

None, that's why my first answer was a L2J wiki link :P.

 

And I agree the whole process of compiling or deving is only about self-motivation. Those forums are used by lazy people to make their own job, when they should be used for particular question (AND AFTER a failed search on inet).
