If it wasn't for the catastrophic "cash-in and run" policy of L2Mid, I'd just avoid this server simply because of admins running around in other servers' topics, insulting everyone. vogans was right, you should be ashamed of yourself. I'm fairly positive that unless the DDOS can be held up entire month there's no chance any significant ammount of people will go to Mid, for how unprofessional you make the project look with your childish behaviour.

I'd still rather play 1 hour a day on Dex due to DDOS than 100% uptime on profit-only fake craps like L2Mid. Harsh, but true story. /Also this is how most people see it, that's why the server is DDOSed so desperately.

It's definitely at least ~2k online. Trust me I've played on hundreds of server I know the difference between 1k and 2k online servers.

L2 Mid will close immediately if the online drops under 1000, unless you plan to nolife for a month and then quit I don't recommend it. Much better project is L2Dex which was opened yesterday. There was some DDOS attacks but it's alright now. +3k online, definitely more serious project than those mids, blazes, neos etc.

Despite the heavy DDOS attack I think they'll be ok... I mean even when you watch the stream, the server always opens for like 2 minutes every half hour or so, but still hundreds of people login everytime. So yeah some people will leave but generally unless they can keep the DDOS for entire week I think it was a failed DDOS attack.

Just curious, what do you mean by 'new skills engine'? Have you been e.g. rebalancing the debuff duration/landrates and such?

^This. At least Dex stays open when the online drops. Mid is closed immediately when there's no vision of new profits from donation.

I honestly don't understand how can you even trashtalk. L2Mid is much more known to be a burst-rush server. I'll be glad to try Dex because I know they at least put some effort in it and try new things. I've played on mid twice and I honestly don't remember a single difference from one another.

Have you thought about, I don't know, just making the Adena rate lower and giving player some free shadow equip to level up instead? I mean, not only that you'd save yourself a fair ammount of work, but the adena economy wouldn't be so screwed up and players would have an option to sit-trade. This way everyone will have bilions of adena and you won't sell or buy a single thing for it.
