I'm not saying they just make it 'to make people happy', of course there's money involved; it's about having the decency to provide players what they want after they give you the money. Some admins just treat players like dairy cows - when they're done milking them they just wack 'em and buy another ones. I don't understand why people let Stalone abuse them like that.

Well as I already said, look at RPG club: after several months, when the online drops below certain level and donations become non-existent - at the point where Stalonski would normally just close the server - admins on RPG club simply merge 2 server into 1, creating one with decent population which they keep up even when it's not too profitable. I remember there was a merge of Ruby and Cartel but IIRC it stayed up for a blink of an eye because it turned out it didn't start pouring enough cash into Stalonski' pocket.

l2classic club online for 10 months with +- same online as when it started. L2Dawn is up for ages, too. If you want mid rate then RPG is a way to go, even though they open new servers fairly frequently, they have a great server merging policy (even GF -> HF)

I mean 29000 online? Like cmon. You couldn't even get that many bots on server at the same time. And even if it was 50k, Stalonski would still close and wipe it after 3 months because he knows he gets most donations from the server start; and if you're player who wants to play longterm then you can just fuck right off. This server policy deserves all the flame it gets.

Well I guess nobody will pay me for sitting on a grass and listening to the music, but it's about finding a compromise. Laying on back and watching clouds is fun but doesn't pay bill, sitting 10 hours a day in claustrophobic office cubicle with shitty boss and annoying coleagues pays the bill but makes you hate your life. But there's always a middle ground. Too many people just try 2 jobs or so and decide that working is a nightmare and that's the end of the story, but that's not true. Just don't settle until you're happy, that's all.

Y'all niggas need to keep looking for a work that doesn't make you hate yourself. What's the fucking point of getting paid $100k a year if literally 1/3 of your life (sometimes even 1/2 and if you have to take work at home) you spend in stress, just for the sake of buying things that you don't need to impress people you don't even like in a first place. I may sound like a hypocrite since I'm enrolled in economical college, which means right now I'm aiming at exactly that type of work I described above, but sure as fuck the way I see it right now I'd probably rather do gardening or some shit for minimum wage, should it mean I live 1/3 longer, not being stressed out whole weekend about what expects me on Monday morning. You guys act like there's just one job you can have and that's the end of the deal. How old are you? I bet most of you are in 20s, early 30s top. If you're not from US there's a good chance you can study any public college for free. You're young, you can try new job interviews every day. If there aren't good enough position in your city, try in another. And if there's nothing you can do in your country, most of you can speak basic english which is already a huge advantage to many other people coming to work in US or UK. And trust me you'll git gud with the language pretty quickly. Just don't settle if you're not happy.
