  1. Thanks again for this extender, it's great work. Which system folder are you guys using to connect to the server? I'm using windows 10, and a lot of the system folders I've found won't start. The others won't get me past login. The server, cached, hauthd and database is working fine. I can even see the hauthd server receives my login request. My l2server, cached and hauth are connected to each other, that much is certain. But when I click login, the game doesn't progress past "You are currently logging in. Please wait a moment". I'm using 127.0.0.1 as my all my ips, except for the external one in the DB. I've tried swapping it out though, but to no avail. My ports are open too, and when I try connecting through a browser (just to check if the signal goes through) hauthd reports "Connection refused: address is currently blacklisted (IP=127.0.0.1)". The black_ips.txt is empty though. I'm suspecting the issue is my client. Any ideas? Thanks! EDIT: I used the system folder from Vector, and now I can get to the server selection screen with 9999 ping. Progress!! I'm so excited. This thread is pure gold. EDIT2: I'm in. I'm goddamn in.
  2. Thank you so much, that's exactly what I needed to hear. Really appreciate it! I was slowly going insane. Knowing the files aren't right gives me a second wind. EDIT: Okay, I've got the new setup going now, with your extender. I'm still having trouble getting it to run though, but I'll look through your thread and see if I can find the cause of the issue. It crashes with the error: ItemDataChecker[1]: syntax error. EDIT2: I managed to get the server going, as well as the NPC server now, thanks! I used the server files uploaded recently in your thread. The only issue I see now, are occasional errors in L2NPC. Is that common? I figure it's a geodata thing when it can't generate a random position EDIT3: I can't seem to connect to the server from my client, even though I use 127.0.0.1 in the l2.ini. hAuthD gives me no messages at all. Any suggestions? I'm using the client from Shrine, I just changed the IP in the l2.ini. I'm looking so much forward to having a server that works so I can start modding.
  3. Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to look at this. First the stuff that works: - I've installed the l2server_l2off_gracia_final_83 server files - I've set up the MSSQL database - cached is working correctly - hAuthd is working correctly I can start L2server correctly, but when I load npcdata.txt, I get a barrage of errors all saying this: [.\ObjectDB.cpp][579] npc class count over (MAX=10000) How come? My npcdata.txt is the original, untampered one. Am I doing something wrong, or did I miss something? When I use a few different npcdata.txt files I've gathered, I'm able to pass this issue. But that causes a whole nother issue when I start the L2NPC server. I get so many errors, but mostly the same types. These are the issues: superpointinfo.txt[4] : Undefined NPC[scribe_leandro] superpointinfo.txt[5] : Undefined MOVE_TYPE[MoveSuperPoint_FollowRail] and Undefined precompiled name[bunch of names, mostly SEALs] and [.\PrecompiledHeaderDB.cpp][318] invalid skill_name_id[273612802] id[4175] level[2] npc is using invalid skill name id. npc = [1025019], skill name id = [273612802] I'm still able to run the L2NPC server reliably though, it just keeps hammering out those error messages. And it just can't be good, right? Lastly, when I start L2Server and I get to Compute Clan Relation, I get a whole lot of these errors: [d:\vss\globalbranch\branch\overseas\ct2_final_0121\program\server\l2server\Utils.h][255] Bit flag Index overflow What can this be? I appreciate any help I can get, this is really bugging me. Thanks!
  4. I'm looking for the location of the map texture used ingame. I'd like to see if I can do some modifications on it, for fun. Anyone know where I can find it? I've been going through a bunch of .utx files by now, without luck. For clarity, this is the map I'm looking for: Thanks EDIT: I do believe I finally found it in the L2Font file. Just in case someone lands here in the future.
  5. Thanks for the answer. That's quite funny to me, but it explains it.
  6. Thanks a lot for all your work, this is an awesome share. Quick question, is there a reason to not set FixSpiritshotLag to true in the config? I mean, who wouldn't want their spiritshots to be lagfree?
  7. I'm not your bro. And they do deserve my attention, but you don't. You should give Efegue his account back.
  8. I came here looking for a server to play. Not a fake account, and the "rumors" are based on facts. Several original members of L2Evoke have stated the new L2Evoke is fake. I don't like it, and I won't play there. But I won't stop helping players avoid lying server owners. It's the least I can do, some people spend hundreds of hours on these kind of servers.
  9. L2Evoke is not who they say they are. Don't join them.
  10. I don't think L2Evoke is the right place for dawn players. The owner of Dawn seems very honest, which is the exact opposite of L2Evoke's leadership based on identity theft.
  11. Those are valid points for sure. But shouldn't you try to fight the cheaters, instead of embracing them? Where do you draw the line then, if some of it is okay? I'm not arguing against donations, I think they're an important part of a server structure. I'm arguing against donations which reduce the accomplishment of getting a rare item in-game. Pay to win donations effectively put a price-tag on everyone's time, and that severely impacts the joy of playing. Fight the RMT, ban the cheaters and rock a good server. There's plenty of other things people would donate for. Don't just bend over, that's not a good look for a server owner.
  12. Almost everything sounds awesome about this server. I was about to join the server, but then this: So people will be able to buy items? Everything I've worked for for weeks could be obtained by some wallet warrior in a minute? That's really demoralizing.
