I'm so experienced with this. The server will not start in this way. But just to reply your question in other sides and visions... Vision 1) No one can stop who have money. If in the future the server don't have such items to get as donation reward, who have money will buy it from other players. (Maybe you who have farmed for weeks, will sell this). This will work in the same way and the most penalized with this is you because in a server like this, big clans will zerg farm just to sell farm by money and you gonna farm nothing. Out of this, the server will have loss quality by no money to get good quality of services. Vision 2) You will have the items by farming, with Fun because you are playing a game, and he will have items with donations and money comes from his job. What you prefer, play online games all day with lots of fun and have items or Work in your job all day, and have only little time of fun playing games? I'm sure, NO ONE PREFER to WORK! Vision 3) Its impossible to stay with a good server online, without donations and get good quality. Servers who says: "no donations" for sure, they should get money for any ware. They will just sell items via email, via Skype or anything like this. if not, they are so rich because to have time to expend administrating the server and pay all bills alone, wow, its so hard then... in this way, there is only 1 logic. They loves to play L2, and they will play inside the server with his friends. The items you farm for weeks, they will just //summon and will kill you with this items. --- Its impossible to keep the server online without donations... We use the best softwares to keep the game clean of people who want to take some advantage. As these techniques are not known, we can say with greater confidence that our server is totally free of bots and/or hacking programs.
