The lucera uses both obfuscation and string encryption for the licensing system. Even fully obfuscated it would be really easy to crack.

It's pretty fun to do those things so I thought I would open a thread. Here you go. Lucera 1.7 cracked. Images are not loaded ingame because I don't have the client and there are some strings that are broken, I am assuming because of russian stuff. I won't spend more time into this. Try to mess up with the locale settings or a russian client and you might figure it out. Agreed with @Red-Hair-Shanks on this one. People are free to set their own prices for the products they make, no matter the quality of said products. It all comes down to whether someone is willing to pay that amount.
