hehe yes he must be a bit stu**d(I didnt say the word), but thats a perfect trick to scam. When u know that a person is confused (example:he has lost with the 1st drop one item) you can try this trick and I think you will manage to scam him.

hehe I played on server where were tattoos too expensive and I scammed a lot of noobs, when I showed them tattoo in trade and canceled it, said that I have full inventory.. and in next time I get to trade No Grade weapon looks like tattoo :D

For the time you  create the char till you go in the town and find the other real char, the karma boy will have done his job.

Useless and needs much time :/

1st of all: It isn't sure that you will successfully scam the person you just need to be quite lucky

2nd: This trick works on med rate servers that ppl afraid to stay and have karma......

The trick: A player has got karma and its inside the town, most times he brings his 2nd character trades the items to his other char and he removes the karma. In order to scam him you have to Create a simillar character of the one that has got karma.Lets say that the char that is pk name is "LoLiTa" you create "LoLiiTa" you have to look for the 2nd char of the player and after he gave the items to his 2nd character he leaves to remove the pk.Then the time the 1st player comes to the 2nd to take the items you quickly trade him instead of the normal one and vouala you get the items. I am not sure if i describded it correctly but with this trick i got many donated weapons in L2 Elite

Hope to help ya !!!!

i have no idea how this should work , if a person makes a char and is on dualbox to trade the items (instead of putting em in WH) u need to get the exact timing or he will know that some 1 else is trading him , also after he puts the items in trade , he will go to the dualbox to confirm , if he doesn't see a trade he will notice... , also how do u know what char he created? , and if it is in a clan? no offense but it seems as a poor scam

    • First of all, its great to finally have something meaningful to discuss on this forum  and good job pushing this community forward, even if its mostly dead. I always wondered why, in the last 15 years, no one has properly documented any of the source code (acis mobius) or at least exposed common functionality through something like a rest api, which is straightforward enough for most people to understand and use.   I have some technical questions since im really interested   Regarding real time features like maps and enchanting  are you using technologies like grpc? And what happens when both a logged in player and panel try to enchant the same item at the same time? Do we run into a race condition how do you handle that ?   Regarding  fake player system  external models calls typically take 1-2 seconds to respond, while an local models might take around 200-300ms. During that time a lot can happen in game. So when the plan becomes stale you override it and wait for the new one  meaning the node handles everything in real time and the LLM simply sets the goal asynchronously. Is that the correct understanding ?   Regarding the security aspect a lot can go wrong when exposing crucial server logic to the open web (experimental is good). My real concern is  the mcp in the panel where  a lot can go wrong with bad user input.      Wasn't the game client always the limiting factor for l2j?
