well the 1rst was pretty good but i hope the second to be better from graphic side, senario and gameplay propably they have improved a lot of things . ill wait little bit  to play  as2 i did finish the first one so im waiting.

Bad news for the pc players (like me)

Ubisoft's new piracy countermeasure requires perpetual Internet connection, all saves stored online.

 

When the original Assassin's Creed shipped for PCs in April 2008, the game's launch was plagued by piracy. As part of a lawsuit filed against the manufacturer that leaked the game six weeks before its official launch, some 700,000 copies of the game were distributed illegally online, costing the publisher millions in revenue. With Assassin's Creed II set for its March 16 bow on PCs, Ubisoft will attempt to circumvent the PC piracy issue with its new Online Services Platform.

 

Perhaps the most controversial element of Ubisoft's Online Services Platform system is that gamers will be required to be connected to the Internet during their entire play session. The enabled-Internet requirement is necessary across all game modes, including single-player and multiplayer options. If players lose their connection during a session, the game will pause and resume once the Internet is restored. Players will also be required to sign up for an account on Ubi.com.

 

As for the perks, the Online Services Platform means that gamers will not need the game's CD or DVD to play after installation. Gamers will also be able to resume their game session from any PC, due to the fact that saved games are stored on Ubisoft's online servers. The publisher notes that if it stops supporting its Online Services Platform, a patch will be released so that "the core game play will not be affected."

 

Ubisoft also said that the online authentication server will not limit the number of installs for any given game, a common complaint lodged at other digital rights management services. However, only one play session per Ubi.com account can be active at a time.

 

Speaking to GameSpot, an Ubisoft representative confirmed that "the majority of Ubisoft's PC games will use this platform." More information on Ubisoft's new Online Services Platform can be found on the publisher's Web site.

Anyway I finished the game before some weeks and the thing I loved the most was the Altair's gift to ezio.

You gonna love it too!

Atm I'll get soon the russian pack I think because can be translated to italian also:) the bad thing is that we must wait for a WORKING crack that let us play from the start of the history :) the only one atm in the net works but make u play 5mins after the start of the history and after u talk to a guy in a palace appear a white screen and then nothing:/

Assasin's Creed was nice so propably the second will be much more better, right guys?

Seems there two cracks :/

A russian one that stucks at Animus, and another one of 280mb+ not sure if it works good or smth.. cus i cant download it T_T that shitty "ugotfile" is too slow...

So if anyone can download this: -Link Removed- and test it ofc, would be cool >.<

 

But you can play any way (i still recomend to wait)

      For the first time in thousands of posts I've read on this forum, I’ve actually found a message that is enriching on both a personal and professional level. I’ll take your advice to heart: I’m going to start creating more and stop overthinking things that get me nowhere. I totally agree about the toxic community; it's a shame. Time to keep working. Thanks a lot for your input.   Exactly, that’s why the Scryde method and their merge system work so well. People don't lose their progress and can still keep rushing new servers. Obviously, gameplay has mutated into something much faster-paced, but obviously, this happens in real life too, everyone is more accelerated and on edge. Thanks to social media and mental conditioning. But, well, it’s something we have to accept. Don't even get me started on gambling and online casinos; that’s a whole other topic regarding all the P2W servers.   Really, amen bro.

      Hello, the server lifespan isn't something that only affects Argentina; just look at the South American and European communities. Those distant days you mentioned, when we were younger, which I completely agree with, are long gone. Today, the community plays RUSH for 30 or 60 days and seeks the adrenaline rush of starting over. As for free or paid packs, there are many options, but in all of them, you'll have to create your own unique style.
