Thank You for posting it. Too bad You didn't incluce whole conversation, but I won't bother.
Yes, customer paid 50% of the payment - 150 euro. He decided to bail, I don't mind. I offered to refund 100 euro, 50 euro for my time, coding and debuging, which 50 euro is...laugh at this point...But customer refused to gave me his Revolut account details.
I will refund 100 euro to customer via payment history and post proof here.

    the client doesn't care that you're wasting time. Does anyone know if the child is being drugged?

You should be thankfull that he even gave u back 100, just because u cant wait, u expect full refund while that guy already almost finished, i think ave is right, i worked with him, no issues ofc delay but thats life 😁

just a few things

normally the 50/50 means first 50 is collateral in case you decide to go back in your agreement, for "closing" the job, using his time etc... (meaning non-refundable)

 

the fact that you had to pay for this extra work any amount of money is a joke..

 

the poor communication from ave side is known nothing new here i guess you knew that already, and no i dont mean his classic behaviour, a professional discusses the timeframes.

 

there are many (even free) alternatives for updaters and is cheaper to hire somebody to slap your logo in a background..

Ah, yes, NightBuger with his deep anal-ysis, as always, begging someone to ban me so his friend-lover, who also does updaters, can feed a little bit more...


No, I'm not a client developer, I never was. There are pr0's here who do this kind of jobs and I always recommend them.

Slapping logo to the background You say? Ok then, I guess Your friend-lover who did updater's in the past (I hope he / she doesn't do those anymore) did exact same thing, for 80% of my price with 100% shittier design and coding. I guess that's fine? If anyone need a preview of this person "designs", check NightBuger itopz logo, and if that's not enough, go to his itopz.com website. It SCREAMS quality.

As You once said, and I agree with You for once, You should be thankful for every customer work I dropped - so You both could eat crumbs fall from my table. Be thankful, enjoy.

He gave a predetermined time frame for completion (2 weeks), he didn't deliver, he should refund the full amount, it's as simple as that.

Honestly Ave has probably the best updater out there, the download speed is amazing since it has bz2 compression support, his designs are great, etc. I don't understand why he insists on taking so long to deliver every single time. His procrastination is bringing him down.

I did ALL the coding, spent my time, debuging and testing. I was in touch with customer and using his server and game files to test if all works fine. It did, he knew it, we were communicating about this all the time, so it's not like I was taking a piss and did nothing. 
I did the design, but not finish on time. His server is still - and will be, on BETA. It was 100% custom work, for what I did, 50 euro is laughable. I wasn't disrespectful at any point of our conversation, even after customer bailed out. Also, I've sent him a message, informing I can still make the work till sunday, we refused, so as You can see, I already did trie to resolve it. 
I already refunded 100 euro. I won't be refunding in full, I also stated the reasons. I have right to do so after all the work, just like customer has rights to bail at any point. I don't care who's friend he is, who he is talking to on private messages to force his opinion.

I'm no longer a teenager or a studnet. In 90% of time I deliver on time. I took Celestine's advice and NOT stating something will be deliver in 1h (even tho it would be). Now I inform, I need few days. And everything is gooing good. Read my topic. I've started to ask customers to leave my a feedback, even tho it's not mandatory and nobody cares about mxc feedback anymore. But for every 30 transactions, if one doesn't go well, I'm taking shit and comments like "he NEVER delivers, ban him!", from all-time haterZ of mine. I don't care about those, but that's the reality here. If someone doesn't like my work, I'm not forcing anyone to contact me or use my work.

I already gave my explanation, I already stated my reasons, I won't be refunding 50 euro. That's all from me.

I don't care, I'll lose the 50€, you're not the first to do something similar, I wanted to report you on the mmo-dev.info forum as well, but to my surprise I saw that you are already banned there.  that tells us something.

To be fair, I wasn't aware I had an account there. I guess I was banned on that mmo-dev-rus bullshit because I'm well known for not beeing russian-ass-licker-fanboy, those who knows me, knows it too.

You did. Worked stopped. You got refunded. That's all from me, I have other works to do - I can't spend more time here, repeating myself, so I won't get "reported" yet again with another project.
