Trying to make it so that when a player enters the world His Level will be chacked and if he isn't level 86 he will be set level 86. Does anyone know how to change this? I searched How to change Character level and nothing came up. I also looked thorough L2PcInstance.java and I didn't see anything like setlevel...

Really? Can't even figure out how to set a character's level to maximum upon entering? There are two different methods to do this actually. Fail.

Experienced dev had no clue how to set permissions for other access levels in the database. This is basic shit. Common sense stuff.

Those are just from the month of December. Now honestly I have nothing against Th3On3 personally. What I do have a problem with is someone acting all high and mighty on one forum (here for example) and then posting noob-ass-first-week-L2J-couldn't-be-bothered-to-search questions on another forum.

 

That's when I take issue and decide to shed light on just who exactly this person is. So hey, if any of you want to pay this guy, have fun. But you should at least know what kind of service you'll be getting. :)

I am looking for an experienced Java developer for my L2J server. I personally have been around L2J for about 3 years and I am looking to start up a successful Gracia High Rate server. The rates would be some where around 2500x. I am willing to pay my Developer once server donations start up. I need the help of a developer because I am not the most knowledgeable in Java, I can apply a patch and edit a patch to make it work, but I cannot write my own code. I have written up a Todo for the project, and it is relatively easy.

First of all I wouldn't be calling me inexperienced without looking in a mirror. What have you coded that qualifies you to be experienced?

I guarantee most people on this forum and the L2J forum don't even know how todo this. That is not common knowledge. Sure it is not alot of code, but there is no way this is common knowledge. Also if you actually read the rest of the topic the first 3 people that responded all posted incorrect code. Including _DS_ who is a so called "experienced" dev like yourself of course.

I did fucking search. Try to search the following yourself: how to make warehouse no fee, no fee warehouse, no deposit fee at warehouse.

I searched those and got nothing that was even useful.

Now i did get this post:

I know how to set access level. The problem wasn't that I didn't know how to change the access level but rather that I forgot to enable the isGM from the access_levels table.

If you present me with a project I swear I will work my hardest to complete the project on time and effectively. I never scam people, and I trust my customers to not scam me. Now I understand you may not think very highly of me, but don't spread rumors about my service without even knowing me. I have never even talked to you! How can you judge someone you don't know?

So thats what you think im doing eh? U got it all wrong, I am not some stupid kid that would exploit the system like that, who do u think I am? Clearly you have judged this book by its cover. Stop accusing me of doing something with so little knowledge of who I am and what I have done. Sure you may know that I made a clueless post, but plenty of people have been making plenty of posts about that same topic in the same section on the L2J forums. All of those questions I asked were questions about my own server, not something that I was making for someone else. You can just take a look onto my server if you doubt me... You can even PM me ingame and I will show u... Heck add me in MSN and we can talk about this.
