Spoil Players , Your Opinion

Hello, in an old old topic I randomly saw a Tryskell's post with the following idea. I think he just mentioned it , but anyway it doesn't matter.

 

Players to be able to spoil players , not only monsters. And the sweeper skill propably to make the victim drop some adenas from his inventory. You gyes what do you think with this as a server's feature? 

 

My opinion:

- increases dwarfs race creation , improves gameplay epsecially on pvp servers.

- can't create bots , since the dropped adena will be from the victim's inventory.

fail feature ....

- players will stop on inventory to have more adena

- player change adena for gold bar or no sell crystal S grade or new bot bank or use wh

 

- and spoil and sweep give you 10 adena or 1000

- how go for pvp with dwarf for take 1000 adena ( if take pvp ) ....

As said others it's mostly a faction engine feature, until you create endless pvp status.

 

On a PvP classical server, it could only stun players for a short amount of time (the sparks are so dizzy). What I like with a spoil revamp is the needed interaction between 2 different skills. So maybe, spoil stun the target and sweep drain % of HP/MP/CP ? Or sweep root the target ? In any case you would need to successfully spoil first to make such combo.

 

If your point is to balance dwarves, they basically need more "tools" and at least one damage skill (fatal strike from destro, as postIL did). So I suggest you fatal strike and at least 2 more "tools" (can be whatever you want from the moment it fits with theme : stun, para, root, dash for BH but UD for warsmiths, etc).

 

If you want to keep the idea of spoil items on players, you should restrict it to adenas and keymats/mats, nothing more. You can easily retrieve both inventory and warehouse, even if it adds some codes. The other option is to forbid the use of warehouse. About quantities, it's a mix between difference of level, spoil skill level, spoiler grade level and item overall quantities.

 

On a PvP classical server, it should be able to do only if target is purple.

 

All in one, if you want dwarves, the main point is to get a useful craft system (notably no GM shops) and eventually extend it to consumables.

I never see working enchanted routes for spoil in any L2J Server. But if they are enchanted imagine the possibilities in pvp servers pre H5 (I know... BH with backstab T-T)

 

Bounty Hunter Dwarfs have high HP, low mobility and 3 stuns (Armor Crush also reduce M.Res and P.Def) in IL with IC + Valakas Necklace + HP Dyes (+5CON *0*) + HP buffs can gets easly 25k and more of HP. (Passive Battle Roar from Augument? Shhh is secret <3) The big problem for Dwarfs is they not have big damage output (Stun Attack, Hammer Crush and Armor Crush not have great damage, only Fatal Strike have a decent ammount of damage).

 

How i see Bounty Hunter Dwarfs pre-H5? A huge iron bucket filled with HP and... Short legs. Wait! Have 3 nice stuns and Polearm skills! But not have agression or hate aura for mobing :/. Wait! Bounty Hunters have Spoil Festival, this works like provoke for mobs :D! But anything of your spoils works in pvp :_(

 

Hey! But if plays a H5 server? Imagine this same sh!t with Daggers, Backstabs and light armor that increase critical rate and damage c:!

 

Back with enchant routes for spoil they works like "Wind Shackles" (Reduce Atk.Speed from the target), "Decoy" (DoT with earth atribute) and "Surrender to Earth" (Decrease Earth defense). If spoil works like debuff in pvp we can open a new pvp world for BH :D!!!

What if players be able to spoil white players, and get small amount of adena from them without sweep, also getting flagged state. Level difference restrictions and different amounts of adena from flagged/PK players is included

That's called griefing, and that's exactly why white players aren't supposed to be targets of Aggression skills. Free to you to introduce griefing in your server, but that's not a good idea.

Should I also disable PK system to protect these poor white players? When I think about this system, I imagine popular farm area like Execution Grounds or FG with players who don't know each other, but know that dwarves can steal money from them. If they will see someone who use spoil on innocent players, they can make decision to attack this bad dwarf... Btw, it is possible to make special-only-spoil-flagged-state, to protect dwarf attacking people from flag state. But with normal flag it must be more fun for everyone. We can restrict this system to only 5+ players in some range, or add a message in chat (but stakes must be higher with message)

you get PK for PKing someone, and flag for stealing his items over and over? xD

 

Seems fair until players will gonna cry and he will have to think back his system.

 

Even as a PK you can't steal anything from victim, no clue why dwarves would be able to. Moreover when victims can't even take back their stolen loot. It's just nonsense. Or make PK be able to loot corpses and tanks to use aggro on white players in order they flag and call the whole thing L2Grief.

PK is punishing because u get the karma, and thats fair - you risk. But imagine tons of dwarves feasting on players, only thing they can get is a flag... which is nothing

All that you are saying is regulated by spoil adena amount. With x3 rates how many adena you get from FG mobs? Let say 5k. So, by one spoil they can steal 500 adena? 250? 100? Tons of dwarves will be if there is 5k amount on this level, and no one will do it for 10 adena (but it still sometimes can be funny to annoy players by this). So there must be golden mean, I thinking about ~250, but it can be regulated later. Probably we should restrict mass spoiling to one player by some big clan, but what kind of clan will seek for alone player? Btw, this unlikely scenarios only improve diversity of the game.
